Shawn Tate and Jana Ray.......
Shawn Tate is an intense, arrogant jerk. He doesn't care about feelings; he is guarded against all emotions. Shawn can be a dark and condescending jerk. A complete A-hole.
Shawn's past is the reason for his dark attitude in life. He is uncaring and self-absorbed. We don't actually get his past story until late in the book. Until then, he is a hard man to like. But I found myself liking him despite his faults.
I will say, however, along the journey his resolve to remain selfish and arrogant starts to waver. Jana is slowly cracking the stone around his hardened heart.
Jana Ray is a simple, sweet, fun-loving woman. She lives life, just getting by due to her meager financial means. When Jana's mother and her stepfather go on a two week vacation, Jana is happy to house sit her them. But when Shawn shows up unexpectedly, Jana's two weeks of relaxing turn into two weeks of sexual fantasies. Hers and his. Oh...did I mention that Shawn is her stepbrother?
The stepbrother aspect wasn't creepy since Jana and Shawn never met before now.
While things heat up between them, over and over, Jana's heart is starting to get involved.
That was not the agreement they had.
I won't go into details; this is a fast-paced, short novel and you will appreciate experiencing all the sexiness that is Shawn Tate on your own.
That said, Congratulations Luke Prescott on your debut novel! You are now a one-click author for me. I can't wait to read more.

Hot damn my kindle is on FIRE with the chemistry between Shawn and Jana. Throughout the book I'm curious as to why Shawn is the way he is emotionally but that doesn't stop the all out sexiness that he gives off just about every second. This is a quick but sexy read that you don't want to put down, the fantasies Jana wants and Shawn fulfills is hot hot hot. When events start to fall into place and the puzzle as to who Shawn is and why he's so closed off comes together your heart will break for him, but it all makes sense in the end. Such a great read and I highly recommend one clicking this story.

This is Luke's debut novel and you would never know that as his writing is great. This is a short but super sexy read that will have you reaching for your man or your BOB so make sure to stock up on water and batteries..lol. This is a taboo stepbrother romance which will hit you right in the feels and leave you wanting more. There is a HAE so enjoy!

Jana Ray is sweet, cute and all kinds of fun. I loved her sass and the way she wouldn't let Shawn get away with his attitude, and she was sure to put him in his place when he tried. Loved her!

Semi-Taboo, Fully Hot Read
Phew! That was one hot AF debut from Luke Prescott.
A quick read with a popular premise, I found that the story also had a couple of little twists and differences that made it a bit fresher than your std step-sibling romance read.
Shawn was engaging as the sexy, hot, gruff, asshole, who's clearly protecting himself from something & Jana was the right combination of girly yet sassy & confident so you could relate to her as a female you'd admire.
For me... the epilogue / ending felt a touch 'wrapped up quickly' and given how the book had progressed at a solid pace until then, I just felt like I needed a little bit more to get me from the last chapter to the HEA.
Maybe I'm just greedy.

ARC of Screwed by Luke Prescott was given to me by the author in exchange for an honest review.
Shawn Tate is a demanding guy who is back in his shitty hometown for job related reasons. He's definitely not happy about it. He sees and takes whatever he wants. He doesn't make any excuses for his behavior.
Jana has never had anything good happen to her and she just wants to experience that feeling for once in her life. She wants to be unpredictable and take risk. She also plans to enjoy the two weeks of solitude that she gets to stay in her mother's and stepdad’s house uninterrupted, but that plan is easily short-lived when her sexy as fuck stepbrother, Shawn shows up unannounced.
Of course Jana doesn't realize Shawn's her stepbrother and threatens to call the cops if he doesn't get the hell out of her mother's house. Shawn however, takes great pleasure in revealing to Jana who he is. Right away Jana labels him as a prick.
From the start there's a mutual awareness between the two. They certainly don't view one another as stepsiblings. Stepbrothers and stepsisters don't eye fuck each other the way that Jana and Shawn do throughout the story.
Jana and Shawn argue at every opportunity and it gets pretty intense with the underlying attraction happening between the two as they get under one another's skin. Shawn finds it highly amusing to taunt Jana every chance he gets, just for the hell of it. Jana doesn't take too kindly to Shawn bossy her around. She won't stand for it.
Shawn and Jana decide to act on their lust, to play out all their fantasies and see where it takes them. Jana knows it wrong to want Shawn, he's her stepbrother after all. Shawn convinces Jana that they aren't related by blood and therefore, should do whatever they want. Jana goes for it. The only rule is that there's no relationship coming out of it, that they are only playing out their fantasies for one another. Shawn tells Jana in no uncertain terms that he isn’t a relationship type of guy so she shouldn’t get attached, but catching feelings for her unexpectedly could have him changing his mind.
Screwed by Luke Prescott was so dirty and hot that I had to give it a five star rating *****. I loved the two main characters, the back and forth that they had going on, and how the male character struggled with issues which he eventually overcame. I can’t wait to read another book by this funny and incredible writer who I happen to like.

WOW!!! Okay, I seriously am floored with Screwed a debut novel by Luke Prescott, I have to admit that I am second guessing my rating of 4.5 Stars for this very short story as I am typing. I don't even remember putting this story down for one moment, so I am thinking maybe I am taking away a point out of anger because I wanted more. The story went by fast, the characters are perfectly written and this has to be one of the hottest novellas I have read so far, I am talking heat on practically every page!
Shawn Tate is a character that grows on you, literally! He is a straight forward wealthy man who gets what he wants and he doesn't care how and who he has to hurt to get it. He returns home to handle some business and he is met by his step-sister Jana, Shawn never expected that meeting her would change his life. He is a man that loves to play out his fantasies, but will he be able to walk away without breaking any hearts?
Jana Ray feels that house sitting for her mother and step-father is going to be a vacation that is until her step brother Shawn messes with her plans by showing up. They have never met each other so it's an instant connection from the start. Jana is a smart woman who makes good choices, but Shawn just might be too much of a temptation to even think straight.

The book starts out with Shawn Tate, he is back in town to visit someone and Jana who is vacationing a her mother and stepfathers house while the go away for a trip. Shawn reminds Jana through out the book that they are not in a relationship, while Jana tries to get him to open up. Shawn was full of secrets that the reader never saw coming, which made the book enjoyable.
As Luke Prescott debut novel he did a good job of keeping the reading in suspense while writing a dirty taking book. I enjoyed this book as though it was a forbidden book it had more depth than other falling for the step-brother books. The chemistry between Jana and Shawn followed natural and the ending was perfect for the story line.

Screwed is DIRTY! It's a step-siblings, fantasy making crazy kinda story. The heat factor is through the roof.
Shawn Tate returns to his hometown for work and while visiting his Father's home he meets his step-sister Jana. They have an instant attraction that leads to an interesting proposal between step-siblings.

The story goes buck wild after Jana accepts her step-brother's proposal. Shawn continues to ward Jana off because he's not able to love. When Jana and Shawn's parents unexpectedly return from a vacation a dark revelation is revealed. Shawn walks away and Jana is left heart broken. The ending is hopeful and happy!
I enjoyed this short but pervert-in-a good-way story. 4 Stars!

Great short read
I was really looking forward to reading this book and it did not disappoint. Shawn a brooding hot rich man with the "I've been screwed " vibe. Only believes in getting what he wants and moving on. Until he meets Jana. She shows him that he can play out his fantasies and that it is possible to still have love. Though this is not necessarily a new subject , hot sexy alpha male meets innocent nice girl. This Author puts his own twist into it and it works. Its a great debut novella. I look forward to reading more from this Author. His writing is good and he can write a hot sex scene for sure. If you are looking for a quick dirty read with a real story you will like this book for sure.

True love does exist!
This book was amazing. Lots of steamy hot sex scenes, a bad boy with a terrible attitude and so much more to love. My only problem is that the book isn't longer. I can't wait to read his next book!!!

Perfect title. Great story. Luke Prescott is a new author to me. This book, was really good. I loved Jana, and yeah I guess I love Shawn too. Jana is sweet and sexy, she's also very open about her feelings. Shawn is sexy as hell, and stubborn too boot. Will they overcome?

This novella was a fun read ! If you're in the mood for a quick, sexy story, this debut novel by Luke Prescott fits the bill! The steamy scenes between Shawn and his stepsister, Jana was nothing short of HOT! I've read several books in this theme and this novella managed to surprise me!
