I was disappointed that some of my favorite things about this man and his attitude towards others, particularly his assassin, were not covered in this one, but it is a decent and concise biography of a good man.
After rereading this one, I am almost inclined to move it up to four stars. It is certainly a 3.5 rating. I especially appreciated a quote from President McKinley himself.
"I am deeply interested in your success and I want you to be a good soldier. Do everything the best you know how. Be careful about your writing. See that your words are spelled correctly. Better have a little pocket dictionary with you. It mars an official paper or letter to have a word misspelled. Look after your diet and living. Keep your life and your speech both clean, and be brave."
