Great set of mystery stories that take place all over the world! Each story begins with a little map of the continent where the mystery takes place, with a magnifying glass over the location (e.g. Africa - Egypt). Great way to start explaining the different places in the world to little ones!

I normally love Richard Scarry books, but this is just one of those books that is horribly dated. I love the idea of a trip around the world, but many illustrations in other countries feature turbans or fezzes, and the characters in Egypt are wearing ancient Egyptian dress, even though it’s not set in that time. I found it to be very dated & cringeworthy. The stories weren’t that interesting either.
