A nice reference. Begins to put seasonal haiku into a reference english poets can use and understand and even goes to some length discussing nonseasonal and modern haikus. A good primer and fine introduction to anyone looking to delve deeper into the world of haiku.

Shows the importance of and what are words related to different seasons. Cherry refers to cherry blossoms and thus spring. Full moon or simply moon connotes Autumn.
