While Alison Hope puts her life on the line in London in a case of computer fraud, Inspector Nick Trevellyan, her beau, remains in their English country village to track down a rapist
Susan B. Kelley was born in the Chilterns and grew up in Oxford. After reading French and English at London University, she worked as a freelance computer programmer for many years. She is now a full-time writer and lives in West London with her solicitor husband and cat.
She is the creator of: 1. 'Alison Hope and Nick Trevellyan', a businesswoman and a Detective Inspector. 2. 'Gregory Summers', Superintendent of the Newbury police force.
Part of a series from the 1990's (I could actually understand the computer lingo) with characters Alison Hope and Nick Trevellyan. This is the 3rd in the series. Interesting plot twists with the two characters following different crimes. Nick reminded me of Grimes' Richard Jury character. I will have to go back and read Hope against Hope and Time of Hope.
Mystery involves computer scam. Characters keep appearing, hard to keep straight. The killer should not have been the killer. Oh well, not the best for me.
