Part of a series from the 1990's (I could actually understand the computer lingo) with characters Alison Hope and Nick Trevellyan. This is the 3rd in the series. Interesting plot twists with the two characters following different crimes. Nick reminded me of Grimes' Richard Jury character. I will have to go back and read Hope against Hope and Time of Hope.

Mystery involves computer scam. Characters keep appearing, hard to keep straight.
The killer should not have been the killer.
Oh well, not the best for me.
