Helped with preparing my dissertation defense. Helped me come up with some ideas for a more interesting opening (although I experienced technical glitches when it came time to present, it worked slick during a practice run). Lots of good ideas for both polishing something up at the last minute, although increases my motivation to begin planning talks much earlier than has been my wont. I plan to pick up a copy to add to my collection.

Fantastic book by my standard. Dorothy Leeds' ideas packed in Powerspeak towards the end of the 1980's still work for me more than 2 decades after.
