Death Crowned (Book 3) - a review by Rosemary Kenny

In the final chapter of this incredible series by King of Epic Fantasy Thrillers Justin Sloan and co-author Michael L Ronn, we learn of the dangers Rohan must face, along with his sister Beverley, ex-blind date Tess, (who has her own special and vital way of helping) and his new soul-mate Nora.

Once the Gates of the Underworld have been opened, what happens?
Who has returned to trigger the Apocalypse? Who else has come with them?
How can Rohan find an old and powerful ally? Will this ally sway the outcome of the battle between good and evil?
Who must Rohan and Nora summon to help and what price must they pay for it?
What happens to Rohan and Nora at the end of the book?

From start to finish the creative dialogue and the shortish chapters help to keep the speed of the action and the sense of impending Apocalypse make you bite your nails down to the elbows as it screws up the tension to fever-pitch!
An incredible epic that should be on your bookshelves as soon as humanly possible - what are you waiting for!?!!

This is the most action packed series! If you liked the first two books you won't be disappointed with this final installment. Poor Rohan and his women. In the end, he has a keeper. There was never a dull moment. I have to say, there is no way I would've ever guessed the ending! That was amazing! These are two very talented authors!

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I'm not a big fan of necromancy novels, not seeing the appeal myslef though I can see why some would love them. I struggled with the beginning of the first book in the series, but really enjoyed it despite all odds once I'd gotten into it, the second book I really loved. This one is just as well written, despite there being a tandem team of writers working on it - with all of the action (because it just never stops) it's not easy to drag everyone along for the ride, but they manage it! I didn't want to put the book down until I figured out how it panned out for Nora and Rohan. Good read!

Yeah!

I am sucker for HEA endings. I was getting a bit worried and upset Frank's and Ann's cackling and hope that they stay where they are, like forever. Like I said loved the ending and you fellows did a great job on this trilogy.
