I have been trying to read this book for about 13 years, ever since reading Games of the Hangman and Rules of the Hunt, but I never could lay my hands on a copy. Even amazon wasn't selling it.
Well now I have read it and must say either has my taste in books matured or Victor O'Reilly has lost his touch. I never felt as thrilled as with the first 2 books. While his Hero Hugo Fitzduane is still interesting, he is just to fully integrated into the system, which is a logical consequence of the earlier books but rob him also his independent way of action.

The book was still nice to read but not as amazing as Games of the Hangman, which I can recommend to everybody who enjoys a good thriller.

This is the third in the series and continues with the fast paced action, violence and, of course, sex. It is an entertaining and riveting story. I recommend all three of the Victor O'Reilly books.
