ARC IN EXCHANGE FOR AN HONEST REVIEW!
Now, I really didn't know when I woke up this morning that Math Professor "hottie body" Jordan Conners was going to feature in my day!
He was described as "...he has the face of a god, the body of an underwear model (from what I can tell), and the smooth, cultured voice of a late night radio DJ."
Now how does that sound?
This is a May/Dec romance with the extra twisted taboo of Student/Teacher.
And it was A SPANKING HOT FANTASY FETISH STORY!
And I for one LOVED IT!
Hey now...
Jordan, has been married for several years without any kids. His ex cheated on him and took him to the cleaners. She took everything and he let her.
He didn't care at all at this point!
He just wanted her gone!!!
I think it's safe to say he has no lingering feelings for her.
But this was 6 years ago and he has not been celibate either.
He has had a few RANDOM hook up, like most sexual active men of this age.
Again this proves to me that he was over his ex before he falls for the heroine.
The sweet and relatively mature Kelsey!
Yes, Kelsey was "technical" a virgin but she was NOT innocent. The only reason she was still a virgin was because of her mother. She done things with other boyfriends, but just not had full sex.
She was very young at almost 20 but she was very mature for her age.
She has had a secret crush on her teacher for a while but he was just made aware of her feelings at the beginning of the school year.
He didn't want to overwhelm her with his own feelings at first. But, when he heard about her true feelings for him, all bets were off and he was going for it! He honestly never thought that she would return his feelings until that moment.
HE OBVIOUSLY DOESN'T OWN A MIRROR!
Then, he decides that he needs to get to know her better.
To see, if they could share more than just a physical attraction.
Therefore, he decides to offer her a job as Math Department Student Research assistant and she accepts.
The story takes off from there.
I really enjoyed this book because the hero actually does the mature thing and explain to her the situation and how their relationship could not only damage his reputation but her Academic career.
They come to a compromise, and that to me speaks of maturity and common sense.
However, this doesn't stop them from needing each other and fooling around.
That part was HOT!
What will happen if they are caught?
Would they be able to keep their relationship strictly platonic until her graduation?
Worth a read for me and even a reread later on.
My one complaint was that there was only one short epilogue.
I wanted more, but then again, I always want more don't I?
Safety: no cheating, no OW drama some light OM drama from her ex, hero has been married and heroine has had boyfriends but no one serious. No condoms.

I don't mind experienced heroines when I read these types of books but I didn't want to know that heroine was a pro at giving blow-jobs. Too much information! She sounded so cheap and trashy! I prefer my heroines classy. Also no epilogue with babies. A disappointing read.

0) I love smut and guilty pleasure stories but apparently not all work out.
1st) A DIRTY Professor Student Romance --- for the life of me I couldn't find the dirty in this romance. Two nice slaps on the bottom do not a dirty, kinky story make.
2nd) I hate heroines who stay a virgin until marriage because of unwanted pregnancies. And then have unprotected sex in the wedding night. I am all for Samantha from SatC who always wants to test drive her man.
3rd) Started really nice but what about the heroine's college degree and her plans for the future? All I read about is her happily celebrating life as a married pregnant wife. Welcome to the 50s.

Solid 3 1/2. Sweet, sexy no tstl, separation or cheating. They don't do the deed until the end but they do plenty else to keep the spice up.
