About the author

This was a short quick read with one of my favorite couples in the series. I just wished two things one that it was longer and two that more of the couples in this series was a part of this book to catch up on and to see what's going on in their lives. Morgan is dealing with insecurities about weight gain after having a baby and with each working and raising a family there sex life is suffering. Jack has plans to make it up to Morgan although he punish her for not talking to him. This short quick read was very well written like all of Shayla's books.

Love, Love, Loved this tiny glimpse into Jack and Morgan's life. A beautiful story that combines the after affects of two babies and a busy lifestyle with the re-connection of lovers. This was a super short and quick catch-up with Jack and Morgan from WICKED TIES. I love them and WT was one of the first erotic romances I ever read so going back to this couple and seeing their HEA and how they go through the busy Christmas days, hectic life with small children and guilt and insecurities at not having enough time for each oher and their sexual needs, was perfect to entertain me for an hour or so.

Oh this was perfect in every way. I was first introduced to Shayla Black novels by Wicked Lovers the first book in the similarly named series. I fell in love with the series and the characters within the first two chapters and Morgan & Jack have held a special place in my heart ever since. Because I read the series religiously I know there are glimpses of them in the novels that follow. But the opportunity to get an updated glance into their lives is fantastic. 5 yrs and two kids later they are still desperately in love with each other but life has interrupted their passion on more than one occasion. When Jack realizes that their missed opportunities have festered insecurities in Morgan he sets about to correct this and show her just how much he desires her. This short was the perfect addition to the Wicked Lovers series. The passion between Morgan and Jack still burns white hot and their D/s relationship remains stronger than ever. I so enjoyed getting a peek in on these characters. I hope this continues for all the Wicked Lovers. It would be great to see where everyone has ended up. 5 Wonderful Stars

This book was a real treat for this 'Wicked Ties' book lover. After Fifty Shades this author claimed most of my reading time as I read through her erotic catalog of novels. This short Christmas themed book follows the Wicked Ties characters, Jack and Morgan, with their young family and the doubts that come with a young marriage. These characters participate in a Dom/sub relationship, and this is a subject that also plays a role in this enticing little novel.
"His understanding made her fall in love with him all over again."
"This man had been her everything since the moment she'd set eyes on him."
"He had to make this up to Morgan, prove to his fiery, blue-eyed wife how very much he wanted her every single day."
And this part made me shed a tear and brought back memories of the first 'Wicked Ties' novel:
"Somewhere up there, my grandfather is laughing at me...and urging you to give me lingerie for Christmas."
Such a wonderful ride down memory lane with two extremely lovable characters. I think I might just pick up the first book and re-read it again.

This is Jack and Morgan's Christmas story. After having two children, Morgan feels that her husband isn't very interested in her anymore. Life business, and children are now the priority. Both realize that they must make time to be together too and must communicate their feelings
This was a short, quick story and I loved it. There is something about the way that Ms Black writes her characters that really draws you in. There were many parts of this story that made me laugh, but my favorite part happened when Morgan and Jack had to stay up Christmas Eve to put together the toys for the kids. "Some assembly required" had Jack cursing China. Anyone who has had kids can relate. I enjoyed this story and look forward to more stories about this group of friends.

Morgan Cole is feeling out of sorts since she gave birth to her daughter five months ago. She knows her stomach is not as flat as it used to be and feels that she is losing her husband's interest. Jack has just finished a 24-hour shift and comes home to put together the kids' Christmas toys. He goes to bed to wait on her but falls asleep. He wakes and finds her asleep at the sewing machine where she was making a frilly outfit to wear for him. After Christmas dinner and the kids are asleep, it is time for the two of them, time both of them need. She is still the one for him and he needs to assure her of his feelings which he proceeds to do.

Wonderful understanding husband
Morgan Cole has a toddler and a new baby, and she is feeling run down. Doesn’t help that it’s Christmas with all the visitors and unassembled toys. Morgan no longer feels sexy she even thinks her very sexy warrior husband Jack, doesn’t feel attracted to her anymore.
Jack knows something is bothering his beautiful wife. He tries to help everywhere possible, but his business is short-staffed and busy. As a dominant, he knows his little wife needs to be ravished and treated like the queen she is. This is a sweet loving sexy story. Wish all husbands were like Jack. Linda

Far too short &mostly promos for her other books

👎👎👎 Booo!! I love Shayla's writing and not stories and Morgan and Jack's story is one of her best. But just when it was getting interesting it ended, more than1/2 of the book length was remaining?!?! So, what did she fill those pages with ... If not the very hot story she promised?!?! Teasers for her new books! WTF?!? Please don't waste my time and money. This was beneath you and your great talent!!

Christmas crazy, new baby, career change, family obligations all tend to put a damper on a couple's love life. Jack and Morgan are no exception. Their lack of intimate connection is making her feel vulnerable. Jack realizes it, almost too late and sets out to make this the sexiest, merriest Christmas ever....Dom style, that is!

A Very Wicked Christmas is a look in on Jack and Morgan on Christmas Eve. After two children and busy lives Morgan is experiencing some insecurities in her marriage. Instead of voicing her concerns she lets them get the better of her. Jack takes control Christmas day to show Morgan that she is his everything!!
