We have all heard at least one Child's Prayer in our lives, whether we said them ourselves as children or we heard them on television, we have heard them. These prayers were created to help young children talk to God. For parents who wish to teach these prayers to their children, it can be hard to know where to begin, especially if they no longer remember the prayers. This book makes learning the prayers easy for both parents and children with its engaging images and small size.
I think this book is very cute. The illustrations are bright and engaging and my children love them. They have all kinds of pictures, from the whole family together to one child playing by him self. These pictures help to convey that prayer can happen at anytime and anywhere.
The prayers themselves are, for the most part, simple and easy to read. Some of them have a bit of a stumble factor, but most of them are simple. They are also very easy for children to understand.
MY greatest worry about this book would have to be the thin pages. These pages are not super thin but they are thin and I worry about small children accidentally ripping the pages when they are turning them.
I received my copy of this book from BookLook Bloggers for the sole purpose of an honest review.
