It's like the author boiled together all the best parts of scrapple lore, pulled off the meat, chopped it all up, mixed it with flour, formed it into bricks, sliced it, and fried it until crispy.

I enjoyed this book but it got a little dry at times. I know more than I did before I started so that's saying something. I love scrapple.
