Word Choice: This book is full of higher level learning words that are fitting towards the animal kingdom subject. Vocab includes kingdom, phylum, class, order, family, and genus. It is a great resource in promoting those higher level words to readers.

Presentation: This book features a wide variety of unique views of animals from the animal kingdom. It features layers views of animals from exterior skin to inside the animal looking at its bones and organs. It also has pop out fast facts on migration cycles and other unique facts about animals from the animal kingdom. It is a unique and engaging way of grabbing the readers.

Classroom Integration/Mini-Lessons/Content Connections:
This would be a great resource to have in engaging students in a unit on the animal kingdom. It features a wide variety of animals that can reach the interests of a variety of students. Each section has visually engaging ways of pulling the readers in as they learn about certain animals. It may be a good read for a project the looks at the bones and organs of certain animals. Students could create a picture of bones and organs of their favorite animals from the animal kingdom.
