Body image is more important to us than ever before, and sometimes it can seem that life is beautiful only if you're beautiful yourself. On a mission to curb the powerful voice of cultural pressure, the author explains how to reverse negative self perception and change the way we feel about ourselves.

this was a good book for me to kick off "changing me" because no matter how much weight i lost i needed to have good self image too..it was a good book to "pass on" to others with body image issues

Interesting book, very helpful for people with low self esteem and problems with their body image. However, IMO, it doesn’t cover an enough wide area of body image issues: it mostly focuses on cases in which people put the blame on their less favourite body features when they fail in something, or use these features as an excuse not to try some things. There are other aspects as well, maybe milder than these ones, but still related to body image.
