The new edition upholds its allegiance to the dual function of the original as a study grammar for academic learning and a reference work for ongoing research. Two aims are clear and complete presentation of the facts and a comprehensive documentation of the relevant research with specific reference to language history. Formally, the volume has undergone extensive revision. The grammar itself has been brought up to date, in line with the latest research on the subject.

Very good description of the Gothic language, I think. There isn't much to miss. It's a little chaotic, sometimes, but then again, this book is nearly a century old.
