This book has stayed with me since my childhood. Although I perceived it differently then than I do now, it still is a memorable story. I think I'll read it again

I read this book in my early teens and I never forgot it, in fact I have thought about it over the years ever so often.
This is one of the most beautiful, touching stories I have ever read. It is an unforgettable, poignant tale that will capture your heart. It is a story about love, friendship and letting go.

When Matt met Chloe he knew there was something unusual about her, He had no idea just how different this mysterious, beautiful red head was.
It is a must read, perfect for young adults but capable of touching the hearts of readers of any age.

I was fascinated after reading reviews on this book, by how it has impacted most people in the exact same way it affected me. A bittersweet and memorable, story.

This is a gorgeous story of love, friendship and belief. When Matt goes to stay with a family friend for the summer to learn more about being an artist, he doesn’t expect much more than work. However when his friend fails to show up at the meeting point, local girl Chloe offers to guide him to his friend’s house and so starts a very special friendship.

Read this book as a child or early teen and loved it. It has really stuck with me, such that every time I see a weir I think of Chloe. Just that intense feeling of wishing that it hadn't .... that she wasn't ...
I could never remember the name of the book, just that it was about Chloe and the weir. Finally found it through a google search!

Outstanding and poignant. Should be a classic and not out of print. I ugly cry when reading it. Truly, literally haunting.

As a child I was caught up in the mystery of Chloe. As an adult the grief of the parents, the longing she has to be seen and saved, give me a lump in my throat on every page. Possibly the best YA book I’ve evr read (though ignwouod jot hacebeen callef YA at tbe ti
w.)

Read and loved it as a child, reread it as an adult. Haunting both times, but in different ways.

I don't know who is responsible for putting up that synopsis, but I consider it a spoiler. The book that I have doesn't give away so much.
