I'm so sorry I took so long to read this one! I'm not a poetry buff but I dabble now and then. This one really spoke to me. Quite a few of the poems hit really hard and a little too close to home. Frankly, it's nice to know that I'm not alone in the way I'm feeling. I really appreciate how the author poured their heart and soul into these poems.
i love this book and since it doesn't seem all that popular i am going to champion the hell out of it. this book set a new standard of measure to which i will compare contemporary poets to. the ones that seem to be popular these days posting on social media of images with short phrases of words on them. and as much as i love their message they lack a depth and to them that great artists should strive for when creating a body of work.
unironically I first encountered the author through one of those introvert or infp groups on facebook. I loved the post so much I followed Nihar Sharma's facebook page The Dreamer. I saw that she released a book and figured why not so I bought it and am now completely in love with it.
I'm pretty new to the poetry game but even these newborn eyes know when they've found something precious. I read my first book of poetry rupi kaur's iconic milk and honey just a few months ago and it has completely opened me to start reading more poetry. I would say Wanderings is just as good, maybe even better than milk and honey because it feels entirely authentic.
This is a delightful collection of heartbreak, triumph, comfort, and all the other human emotions. it's filled to the brim with lessons, stories, and thoughts the author has experienced throughout her life. I found her words to be not only genuine but extremely comforting.
it's hard to put into words why i like this book so much. my advice is to buy the book, read it, reflect on it, appreciate it and see for yourself why I decided to make a home of it. fellow infp's will love this book too.
I started this book a couple of months back but couldn't really get into it. Picked it up tonight (mostly because I want to read as much as possible before the year ends) and finished it in almost half an hour. So if you want to pick up something quick to complete your reading challenge, I'd highly recommend this book. I am not really a huge fan of contemporary poetry so I don't exactly know what to say about this. I loved some poems but didn't really love it like it didn't blew me away. But that's just because I am more into classic poetry and it speaks to my soul more strongly. Overall, a nice, quick read. My rating - 3 /5 stars.

Even before I started reading this book , I already knew that I am going to love it. I follow The Dreamer on Instagram and thus , I knew the intensity of her writing. I have never related my life to any of the books I have read so far but this is it. Thank you Nihar Sharma for conveying emotions so flawlessly.
