This was definitely an enjoyable book. One of the things I love about this series is the description of the pizzas, and this one does not disappoint. The mystery itself was good, and I was shocked by the reveal.

This isn't even worthy of a review, so I'll just say that Ellie is quite possibly the dumbest character I've ever seen. Have a big hole in the wall of your pizzeria? Just staple a few sheets of plastic over it for a week while you worry about if it's too soon to hire another contractor. And by all means, leave all the cash in the cash drawer, because those few sheets of plastic will deter any burglar. I'm out. Cute characters or not, it's just too implausible to continue reading this series.

Diciamo 4 meno.

Ellie wants to put a window in the pizzeria, now that it's officially her's, she has a few changes in mind but when there's a murder and a attempted murder, progress slows down with a hole in the pizzeria she tries to balance taking care of the shop and Christmas. I love this series and I'm trying to catch up as I read both new releases and slightly older books of the same series.

a Christmas murder mystery mystery

Ellie decides to kick off being the owner of the pizzeria by installing a drive through pick up window. What starts out as a positive idea rapidly falls apart as her contractor is found murdered outside the employee door. From there the troubles spiral. Lots of twists and turns and a surprise ending. A fun read.

Entertaining, suspenseful, wonderful. Great characters. Christmas festivities. New food combinations. A slowly budding romance. A cozy mystery, a pizzeria owner that seems to find trouble without looking for it, and a twist ending!!

I enjoyed this book and I know I'm far behind but there is too much description and detail in this pizza series that I skip through. I can't wait to read the next one.

Love the books but..,

Why hasn’t Xavier been arrested? They have proof of his embezzlement, which is a crime last time I checked!
Just annoying - still enjoy the books.

Her grandmother has now gifted the family pizzeria to Ellie and she is finalizing plans to install a drive-thru window in the alley behind the building. Having chosen a contractor she closes the shop and leaves the contractor and his crew to the job. Expecting to be closed for day or two, Ellie is surprised to get a frantic phone call from her employees to come to the shop and meet the police. Her contractor has been found murdered by the dumpster, leaving a hole in the back wall for the pickup window to be installed. When a second contractor is attacked while trying to install the window, Ellie starts to investigate so she can just get the job finished. The characters have become old friends and I enjoy the pizzeria set on the Maine seacoast. The murders are well thought out and will keep you guessing. The perfect adventure for any reader of mysteries, cozy or traditional!

This series just gets better and better.

It's Christmastime in Maine and Ellie is working on ways to improve service at the pizzeria. Her newest idea is a drive-up window to pick up orders. Although it is getting colder she decides to take estimates and go ahead with the minor construction project.

The restaurant is decorated and Ellie and Nonna start in on the house. Ellie's father and aunt have been invited to celebrate with them, but chances are it will just be the two of them. Just as the peace of the holiday is settling in with everyone it is shattered by a murder.

While Russell works to find the killer, Ellie works to stay away from the investigation and finish the restaurant project. Unfortunately for her, that just isn't going to work out at planned.

I love everything about this book. The characters, the action, the season. Patti does a fabulous job of pulling it all together in this cozy mystery. I'm looking forward to Ellie's next adventure.

And To All a Good Night

Another great addition to this series. One of the things I like most about this series, other than all the pizza of course, is how you can see relationships deepening and in Russell's case relaxing and not always be in Sheriff mode.

Ellis decides to put in a take out window for customers that have called in their orders if they are picking up only. Ellies first contractor is murdered, her second contractor injured, and her third not yet hired. It's Christmas eve and as Ellie is putting her employees gifts out the killer arrives. After a narrow escape and Russell locking up th prisoner, they postpone Christmas eve dinner until Christmas day.

A really nice read. I received an ARC of this book. And voluntarily did this review

It's very busy time for Ellie as she is in the middle of contruction for the Pizzeria & the holidays are approaching. A tragedy occurs that makes the up coming festivities come to a screening halt. Can she & Russell figure things out before the holidays are ruined for good? Pick up a copy to find out.

When Eleanora decides to make a drive thru for the pizzeria and people start ending up dead or hurt, of course she has to take it into her own hands to figure out what is going on. I love this series and I can't wait to see what happens next.

Really enjoyable

I liked the story line and this is a great series. I read it tonight and really got into the Christmas theme but I figured out the Killer right away. I don't know if I am getting better at it or if it was not up to par on who could have been the Killer.

I was completely surprised by who the killer was in this one. I totally thought it was someone else. I am anxious to see what the future holds for Ellie.
