3.5 vampire-like stories with basically the same storytelling formula throughout

This was the first book in the "Little Book" series from Borderlands press, and is a collection of short stories about vampirism. You get one or two classic vampire tales here, but most of the stories are unusual vampire tellings; such as the owners who find out that their dog is a vampire, but they love him anyway. I liked it because it was different than the typical Anne Rice vampire with a European heritage. I liked MaClay's writing style too, I'll look for some of his other stuff.

These stories are all very short and a fast read. Each really are different twists on the vampire myth. Fresh voice. I would say my favorites were "eddie", "Angel of Death" and "Salem Morning"

The book seemed too short though! LOL
