A+ illustrations! A good way to introduce little ones to the idea that nature belongs to all of us, and that animals' environments are their homes, and should be treated as such.

A very good story showing the different creatures that live in the river. The pictures are colorful and simple perfect for a young preschool audience. The children enjoyed this particular book as an oversized book during preschool storytime. The illustrated glossary located at the end of the book was very helpful.
