I can divide this book in two part, the first part is trying to teach you html/javascript/css and for me as a frontend developer that was boring but I try to read that. that part also contains some bad codes habit but meanwhile it's also teach you some basics of WebAudio API. but chapter 7 and and also after chapter 10 the real part will start. the part that you are waiting for that as a web developer. sometimes as a web developer I needed to search for something , for example what is Hz ?. also the book has a video tutorial on the Pluralsight so if you need you can also check his video tutorial one.

there isn't much books about Web Audio API at this time. if you want to have some practical examples I recommend this one.
