Charm School Quickie: Lesson 1.5 is the short and sweet little bridge between book 1 and book 2 in Lynn Carmer's Charm School series but it can be read without reading book 1.
As we learned in book 1 and as explained in this story as well, the Calvo Quads, four completely unique sisters born only minutes apart, have inherited a failing charm school from a treasured family friend. What better way to save the school than to teach some naughty after hours classes? I know, my description is just cheesy but in all honesty, reading about a large group of women (and a few men) of varying degrees of experience learning how to give a good BJ is just good fun.
Each sister is tasked with teaching a specific class on a specific naughty technique, but how to perform their "research" without a partner? Best be finding some willing research assistants, ladies, which is where the individual books in the series come into play. Caelen and her childhood frenemy found love over BJ practice in the first book and each of the sisters is slated to get a turn. After reading Caelen's book, I can say these stories are about more than just oral sex or sex toys. The banter is sharp and flows realistically while the relationships, both between the sisters and their men, is just good fun.
Don't punish this cute little book because of my rambling review. The novella is meant to introduce you to the Calvo Quads and their quest to save their unique school while entertaining the pants off of you. These sisters have already managed to endear themselves to me and I can't wait for the remaining three stories.
Can you read this novella without reading book 1? You bet, but while this story's heavy on instruction, the full length novels are heavy on story and that's what I've come to appreciate most about this series.

Wow, I loved book one and it was fun to see Caelen teach the class and I loved all the old ladies in the front. I am so darn excited for book 2 to hurry up and come out. I need more Alexei and Brynn like yesterday. He is so damaged and sexy, I can't wait! Excellent job Mrs. Carmer

Perfect novella to go along with Charm School after Dark: lesson 1
I absolutely loved this novella! In Charm School After Dark we met the Calvo Quads, especially Caelen and Dare. In this quickie we got to see the class Caelen taught then also got a sneak peak at Brynn and Alexei. I am loving this series and can't wait for more!

Nice!
Great and funny bridge book between lesson 1 & 2, absolutely loved that we get to see the perspective of the lesson being taught and the audience response and also more steamy scenes between Dare and Baby C. Love the intro to Baby B and her soon to be subject.

A great In between.
I love how this book shows more of the charm school after darks first night! I loved the spirit of the audience. Those old ladies I could just see as many Betty Whites!
There are many different POV in this book. It does great in tying in the first book to leading into the second. I loved how it introduced the characters for the next one in their own special way. It left me without a doubt yearning for more. I crave to find out what happens between the next sister and her guinea pig. :-) Great flow and never a spot where you feel like your rushing to get to the good parts because it is all good!

I fell in love with this series when i came across the first book by accident, and I've impatiently waited for more. Lol. This novella was just what I needed. After all her practice with Dare, Caelan killed it in her class for "headers". Her and her sisters are still just as awesome as I remember, and I now can't wait for Brynn's story! I have to warn you this book does end on a cliffhanger but no worries the next one is coming out soon. Again loved this book, love the series and love this author. I HIGHLY recommend this series. Who knows you might learn something

New. Favorite. Series.
This book is sort of a transition from book 1 to book 2. While it's not completely necessary to have read book 1, having done so exponentially increased my enjoyment of this book.
1.5 gives a great "snapshot" of the plot of the series, touches on all of the relevant characters and sets up book 2 BEAUTIFULLY.
As with book 1, Lynn's writing is smart, engaging and my cup of tea.
Though Dare in book 1 was intense and sexy, I have a feeling dark, brooding, mysterious Alexei is going to be my new favorite hero :)

Omg! Hotness!
This book was amazing! The Calvo Quad is at it again and they don't disappoint. A lot of hilarity happens in this book once Caelyn starts her first class! I laughed so hard, with all the elderly asking sex questions. That would be embarrassing! Lol! But, of course if anyone could handle it , it definitely would be Caelyn.
We also get more back story on Brynn, and must I say and am oober excited to read her story! To be able to get to know more about her and sexy Alexei! Hell yes! Can't wait to read more!!!

Some classes are just better than others!
This novella is the actual Friday night fellatio fun! And it is a bridge to the next book.
I spent years in front of many groups, from kids to parents of high school kids, I can so feel for Calean. It is always hard to facilitate a class, but one on a very intimate subject? That is the toughest to get through. The author did an amazing job putting that feeling into words. I was right there with Calean through the whole thing!

Completely addictive writing! If you haven’t read Book 1 yet, stop what you’re doing and read that first, where you’ll learn about 4 sisters who inherit a “charm school” with a deeper meaning. In this story we get to continue where book 1 left off and learn what the first class was actually like and we are introduced to a new mysterious character, which will be a big part of Book 2. Now excuse me but I have to go and start reading the next story!

This novella picks up where Lesson 1 left off. The author has added so many funny moments during Caelen's teaching of the fellatio class. Caelen and The Ladies will have you laughing out loud. The book then proceeds to set us up for lesson 2 by giving us more information on the characters. You can read each book in this series as a standalone but in my opinion, you must read them in order to appreciate what the author has put into this fantastic series.

Time for class...Caelen gets the new classes started off with a bang. There are a couple of mishaps, and even the Handsome Devil makes an appearance. The teacher for the next class is Brynn and she picks her topic, now time for her to get her guinea pig. The after after party with Caelen and Dare is my favorite part, gotta love her costume ideas. You really need to read this!!

What a fun short read that sort of touches on what was talked about in book 1 and set up the premise of book 2.

Another great read by Lynn! I laugh at the Quad antics and revel in their bond and love for one another, plus their swoon-worthy men. This book has me impatient for Brynn's story!!

I read the first story and saw this little gem so had to have it. How can something so short be so good? Darn it now I'm going to have to add the rest! I'm hooked! This one makes you want second book hope she does this all the way through!

I happened to read this after I had read books 1-4. I thought it was a good fill-in story that gave us more insight to how the characters thought. There is enough storyline to make it able to be read as a stand alone, but I highly recommend reading it with the other books.
