Whether you've read the rest of this fast-paced mystery series or not, Toffee Apple Killer is sure to take you on an enjoyable roller coaster ride of emotion and excitement!
The relationships in this family and friends oriented series make this a truly wonderful read. The characters are vibrantly alive and the murder plots will keep you spinning in circles until the end. Missy and her police detective husband work to keep their family and friends safe while trying to find the killer of a beautiful young woman. Missy's best friend, Echo, is ordered to do less work as she enters the final months of her pregnancy. Their friend Izzy has entered the world of online dating while trying to recover from the end of her relationship with Spencer. Spencer is dealing with the end of his covert and unwanted job with the government and trying to figure out what comes next. The ever changing dynamics of this group will keep you enthralled while the murder investigation keeps you on the edge of your seat. This series and these characters continue to reach new heights of the unexpected while giving you a wonderful adventure. Don't miss the heart warming dedication the author has given to her Mother, which perfectly explains the wonderful characters that we love.
Oh, wow. That was an amazing book. Poor Izzy just can't catch a break! The mystery was a definite spine chiller. It was just so much more real than a lot of mysteries, and the thought of how easily it could (and does) happen in real life terrifies me.
50 stars is what this one deserves! I have read everyone to date in this series and I think this was the best one , I can't believe I said that because they all deserve 50 stars!
Tim gave me a heart attack! Lizzy needs to be patient as I think (hope) her love will return! Echo made me cry with happiness. Chas takes a chance that scares me, because of Izzy's luck. Missy just makes me giggle, and Spence? Well he needs to put his man pants on and get busy and make everything alright! Lol. Carla made an announcement that made me very, very ,VERY happy! Thanks Summer for making this reader fall even farther for cozy mysteries!
Toffee Apple Killer is the 11th book in the INNcredibly Sweet Series and is a great book. I was excited when this book came out and it didn't disappoint. The characters are likeable and re-introduced that it seems as if you are catching up with old friends. Summer Prescott has written another great cozy mystery. I definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for a fun and light-hearted mystery.
This is a phenomenal book in a series that never gets old. The storyline is flawless and the characters superb. This book has murder of course, and it looks like Izzy is the next intended victim. Can Missy and the gang save her? What will happen next for Izzy and Spencer? Who is bullying Kel's son? So many questions....
Always a good mystery around. And those cupcakes sound so good. Wish they would put recipe at the end. Singles dating is the plot to this cosy mystery.
Always a great cozy mystery. The plot was dating sites. Some woman gets murdered and Izzy gets to play detective finding the killer. Cupcakes sound delicious. Need recipe with the end.
Izzy is sad but tries on line dating. A young woman is killed. Echo has to take it easy so Joyce and Spencer is doing overtime at her store. Missy is baffled on how to help the love ones in her life. Tim is in a bad accident giving Fiona opportunity to put her skills to the test. Can Chas catch the murderer before there is another victim.
I love the way the characters intertwined I was very surprised and hope for more from this author very well written as usual very well thought out I picked it up this morning and finished it before I did anything else
Is he decides she needs to get back into the dating scene and realizes men aren't all people make them out to be. The storyline is a little far-fetched, which we've come to expect. We spend most of the book rehashing things that have already happened.
What a wonderful tribute to the Authors mother who passed. The characters are quirky and so much enjoyment to read. I couldn't put it down till I found out who the killer was !
I love the characters and stories. This is one of my favorite series. Can't wait to ready the next and always sad when I am caught up and have to wait.
Wow, be careful of online dating websites and obsessive person's affection!!!!!
This book had my mouth drop open and I had to keep telling myself to breathe. Online dating is a 50/50 shot of a safe way to meet someone to start a relationship with. After the break-up Izzy had with Spencer, she decided to try online dating, it was a very interesting results. She got to talk to students about her life and how she became a famous writer. There turns up murder, mickeys slipped into a drink, Missy undercover and Echo having to slow down because of the baby. Chas had his hands full on this case and a bad accident that Timothy was in, but was still able to get vadil information on the case. Man you gotta read this series it is action packed and never dull for a minute. You have to start with the FROSTED LOVE SERIES, YOU SHOULD NOT BE DISAPPOINTED WITH THE BOOKS!!!!!!!! There is ALOT in these pages that kept me up late ALOT of nights.
Another wonderful mystery by Summer Prescott. I love this book and this series. Reading each book is always like visiting with a dear old friend. I love the author's writing style and the beloved characters. Each book can be read as a stand alone or within the series because the author provides a little background information in each book. I enjoy reading the series in order. I was delighted when I realized the book would feature one of my favorite characters best-selling horror writer Izzy. The mystery was entertaining and so was the online dating drama. The killer was a complete surprise. The cupcake talk was yummy as usual. If you haven't tried this culinary cozy mystery series yet, you should do so!
This is a wonderful character driven series. The author writes the stories in such a way, you are hanging on to every word wanting to know what is going to happen next. This insI tallment of the series is no exception. Each book in the series can be read as a stand-alone, however I would recommend reading this series from the beginning to have a better overall understanding of the characters and all the little details. I have come to love these characters and want to know what is going to happen next. I look forward to the journey.
Wow. First off Summer Prescott's tribute to her mom made me cry. Second, this book is just as good as the rest of the series. Echo is put in the hospital with a bit of a scare and Izzy decides she should try dating again since she turned Spencer away. Thankfully Echo is okay but Izzy has a few scares and her writing life becomes a reality again. Missy is determined to make things right and keep everyone safe to make sure her family and Thanksgiving is filled with all the family and friends she loves.
The latest volume of the Inncredibly Sweet series is another winner. Izzy finds herself missing Spencer and disliking her solitude. On a whim she decides to try online dating. In the meantime a young woman in town has been murdered and Chas is on the case. Echo is preparing for the birth of her baby and considers hiring some extra help. This book is filled with a few twists and turns that leaves the reader guessing how all of these events may be connected. And, it leaves you wanting to know what's going to happen next!
Missy and the gang are getting ready for the holidays in Calgon but that's not the only excitement going on. These well developed characters are all back and this book has a slightly different feel, it seems as though almost everyone has something else going on at the same time and I really had to think about it but the girls and Kel kind of kept out of the way for the police to solve the murder! Despte that, there is plenty of excitement not to mention a cliffhanger ending.
Once again their is another phenomenal addition to the INNcredibly Sweet Series. Izzy took a more prominent role in this book as did Fiona. And while we saw a bit less of some favorites this time around we can all look forward to a new baby, a possible renewed or new romantic relationship, a new owner for the Inn and possibly a career change. While waiting for all that make sure you read this.
I love the cover of this book and, I have to say, I began salivating at the description of the Toffee Apple cupcakes! I totally enjoyed having a book focus on Izzy more. She is a great character and it was fun, yet scary, watching her getting involved in the dating scene. The author still has me totally interested in this great series and she left me wanting more!
Again, Summer gives us the loving people of Calgon. Thank the good lord Echo is ok, just has to take it easy, a murder which of course they solve with the help of one of their own. Izzy, just can't find love, it there still a chance for her and Spencer? So enjoyed this book, summer. So glad you two are not moving back to New York.
Summer Prescott has once again hit it out of the park!!! She had me biting my nails from the get go and I'm really glad to see all of the usual characters still fighting the good fight. I'm super excited to read what Summer has in store for us next.
I love these characters and stories. I look forward to the continuing saga of Chas and Missy and the murder and mayhem that finds them. This book is no exception the twist and turn keeps you glued and you will finish it in one sitting!
I loved this book and loved the surprise ending. I just think Summer's characters are so well done. You really get to dislike some of them and love the others. And you just want to keeep reading even when you are finished.
I have grown to love these characters like family and look forward to each book coming out. The are heartwarming with a murder thrown in. Now if we could just get Spencer settled it would-be awesome.
If you haven't yet met the gang in Calgon yet you need to from book 1 to book 11 you'll laugh cry and fall in love with all the characters can't wait till book 12
