A boy rows his boat and encounters a range of Australian animals including a koala, bandicoot, platypus, kookaburra, and crocodile. All the animals end up on the boat and then the boat tips over into the water.

Decent Aussie version of the classic song. Kids love the “don’t forget/crocodile/scream” so much these days it’s sad the original “merrily” version has mostly passed them by. BTW, this book was one of several an old colleague gave me for the kids before she decided she hated me.

A fun version of one of my daughter's favourite songs. Australiana vibes and sweet illustrations.

This is a wonderful predictable book for preschoolers and introduces them to an assortment of native Australian animals. while rhyming and singing along to the tunes.
