(Suncoast Society #42, MFM, BDSM)

After nothing but bad luck, Melanie’s ready to give up on love. She puts herself in her friends’ hands and goes with them to a shibari class at Venture. Seems her luck changes when she meets Kirby and his fraternal twin brother, Davis.

Kirby and Davis are immediately smitten. While fully independent, Davis falls on the high-functioning end of the autism spectrum. Even better, Kirby realizes Melanie seems to understand Davis in a way few people ever have. Davis knows he’s not the easiest person to live with, but Melanie soothes his mind in a way like no one else. He’s willing to do anything to make this work.

As the three of them settle into their dynamic, Melanie can’t believe she’s got not one, but two sexy Doms of her dreams. But when a jealous ex and a deeply buried family secret both explode at the same time, will it jeopardize the happiness that finally seems within their grasp?

Another great Suncoast Society book. I like that the author touches on different characters issues. She did a great job in her research and by reaching to people personally experiencing the issue. The story as always reaches in and grabs you by the feels and leaves you happy and anxious for the next book.

As always Tymber Dalton did no disappoint. The story of Davis, Melanie and Kirby was different from anything I had read (well other than other books by Tymber ;) ). The problems and challenges Davis faces as someone who has what some people term a disability are relatable in the way Ms. Dalton portrays them. You get inside his head and you understand why he reacts to things the way he does. Kirby is so sensitive and accommodating towards his brother, yes, he DOES get impatient with Davis at times, which can happen without a sibling having problems relating to the world. Melanie has some issues with relationships and how she views herself, though from the first Davis and Melanie connect on a level that most people don’t understand. Kirby and Melanie also have a connection, different from her connection to Davis but similar in the fact that both brothers are romantically interested in Melanie and she is interested in them. This is a must read book in the series, I totally loved it!

It is amazing how Tymber can create characters that engage you in the story line. Melanie, always choosing the wrong guy and having her heart broken, Kirby being the big brother come interpreter for Davis, and Davis who has set ways and logic due to his autism. These three come together by chance and subconsciously by their needs. Melanie reads and understands them both and somehow manages to accept each of them the way they are. An old lover tries to ruin the almost perfect trio and a forty year old secret could tear them all apart.

Although some previous characters make a small entrance, this book can be read as a stand alone however I would recommend the punishment of the good kind to follow the series because "damn", they are all amazing. A supply of tissues however is recommended when attempting to read any one book from the series.

Another winner in one of my favorite series! Mel has been great at picking the wrong guy so she asks her friend Kim for help. What she tells her surprises Mel but she decides to join Kim and her guys at the local BDSM club. Kirby lives with his brother Davis who is different than most. Kirby is tired of being alone and has developed an interest in shibari so he decides to check out a class at Venture. He brings Davis along and they both find something to spark their interest! I really enjoyed reading about this triad's journey toward their HEA!

Wow, shibari and smoking hawt twins... Returning back to the Suncoast Society series is always a kinky delight. When I want some realistic BDSM, Ms. Dalton is one of the top authors on my list. This one with Melanie and brothers Kirby & Davis is a delicious menage.

MFM The fraternal twins were great. Unfortunately, the menage relationship was weak. Also, the sex was lackluster and mechanical. I just wasn't feeling it and DNF.

As always, the newest addition to the Suncoast Society did not disappoint. Kirby, Davis, and Melanie all had to overcome obstacles within themselves and with each other for the relationship to work, and I am grateful for the glimpse of the world of these three. The interactions between all of the characters seem real, and just like in real life when problems do occur it seems like everything happens all at once. I did feel like the ending was almost rushed. I had to read the final chapter over to catch all of the details, but this did not affect the overall enjoyment of the book. Everyone should have a little happily ever after moment in their life.

On a more personal note, this book is hopeful and inspiring to anyone dealing with someone on the autism spectrum. I guarantee that I will be turning to this book when I feel like I need a little reminder to have just a little more patience in my life.

Brilliant!

Very well written. The story is very honest. One of my previous relationships was with someone who had Aspergers and it was a revelation as there were no head games played, I knew where I stood as what he said is what he meant. If you can live with the accompanying idiosyncrasies then you are on to a winner. Davis was well rounded and wonderfully functional having learned to cope in society. Some are not so well adapted yet can still make wonderful partners. A brilliant book. Thank you.

What a fun story. Would have been cool for Davis to have met Lynn, but glad he is enjoying her books none the less. What finally happened with Felicity and Mels tires?? Would have been fun to have had the Officier that told her about the accident to have stayed involved in one way or another. Missed their ceremony happening with Lauren, not much from the rest of the crew in this one tho.

Thanks for a different look at things, Tymber.

Wonderful Read

Tymber Dalton does it again - this book draws you in from page one. This has a range of emotions - working through all of them have Davis, Kirby and Mel on edge at times and what a surprise Davis and Kirby's parents have for them.

Mechanical is a good way to describe the sex scenes and I never really felt a connection between the twins and Mel. DNF'd at 90% because I just couldn't make my self care but I feel like I read enough to actually rate.

I was waiting forever for this book. I was not disappointed. Although, this book was far more tame, than some of her other books but I loved this dynamic. Davis was a great read and although the book was about all three it really focused on Davis. I saw no problems with that. Davis was a unique character and I truly loved him.

Ask DNA is a MFM book, which is one of my favorite combos to read. , especially when it’s two male Doms and a female sub. Everyone has their preference, MF is another favorite (male Dom, female sub), I’ll even take MMF, I won’t bother spelling that out for you. This is just my preference, it’s like BDSM itself, if we all liked the same thing, it would be pretty boring. No judgement, right?

That’s one of the wonderful things about this series, it has every combo under the sun, every dynamic, doms, dommes, subs, sadists, oh my! And I read them all, even if MM is not my thing, I still LOVE the stories! As I’ve said before, It feels like a family, like my pretend family.

I wondered how Davis was going to end up as a dom, but as I got more into discovering his character, it made a lot of sense that he would take to it like a duck to water. I don’t want to ruin anything, but Davis has mild Autism, and his way of dealing with it and his journey just make sense. Tymber does a fantastic job handling this particular affliction, as she has with others in past books. (my favorite was Two Against Nature with Holly and Walt)

Of course, we have some old favorites show up, which is always fun. And…the drama that shows up to throw the proverbial wrench in the socket. But you have to have the rain to get the rainbow right?

Well for the first time in a while a new relationship is formed without any help from the Venture matchmakers which I think would be fun to hear them discussing sometime in the future. Also, I could relate to Davis as I have a son that would now days be labeled on the spectrum but when he was little because he could function was night. He has had to work work hard over the years as he had academic struggles as well but his a doing well now.

Each person in this group has their own strengths and weakness and together they really create a while package. I love how for Davis his new feelings are so bright and surprising to himself. Kirby can sort of let Mel be part of the group and it will change his own life in some ways. As we see through several points in the story Mel is a strong woman who can stand on her own but it's great that now she doesn't have to.

I felt bad for Mr. Darby and what he will be having to face and deal with over the next few months. Also, I love the backstory of Kirby and Davis' parents. It adds so much to the story.

I really enjoyed the dynamic between the two brothers and how Melanie fit seamlessy into their lives. Even though they went through trouble, they were able to accept each other and live a good life. Great read.

We met Melanie in Liability briefly as Kims friend when she was crying over a breakup. That's how we first see her here. Crying over her another breakup. When she describes her ideal man the triad realize she is describing a D/s dynamic and invite her to the club. She meets fraternal twins Kirby and Davis. Davis is on the spectrum and a lot of the focus is on him in this book. Which I liked. While there is sex in this and a trip to Venture the heat level is on the low end for this story. It was more about learning to deal with Davis' quirks than how many times they got off. Little details like eye contact and where and how to touch Davis.
