Lies, deceit, betrayal—everything has changed from the life I had. From the life I knew. I lost my team. I lost my livelihood. I never thought it could come to this.

I vowed to protect her.

I failed.

But it’s not over yet.

The agency made a mistake when they decided to take my life. Now I was free, and a man who answers to no one is a man who should be feared. I'm fueled by revenge, seeking justice for her, for me, and for the innocent lives I unknowingly destroyed.

Lily drew me from the shadows. She burned so brightly. She made me see clearly and filled me with warmth. But her flame was smothered and she was cast into the darkness.

I won't let that be her end. I need retribution. I will take nothing less.

They may have won the battle, but I'm about to start a war.

I'm in a state of what the f just happened?!

This book was fantastic!. I'm not going into detail because honestly it will ruin it for you completely however just know this book will knock your socks off.

It packs a punch full to the brim with suprise, heartbreak, betrayal, love and lots of humour. It's all wound together seamlessly making it a great story. The charters are fantastic and all play great parts. I cannot wait for what's next!.

I thought this was a great follow up to Deceit. When Deceit ended we knew Lily and Kace were together but the danger was still there. In this book so many questions were answered and the way the story went I just had to see how it ended. Kace and Lily are the perfect couple. I also enjoyed Kace's Team and how they worked through everything. They are a family who will do what it takes but they added humor along the way. Sit back and enjoy this one!

This is book two in the vindicated series. I did not recieve book one to review and I think i would have understood the book better had I read book one. The book starts with a bit of a flash back involving a group from the organization and having realized that things were not as they seemed. The story line kind of reminds me of the movie Wanted. This book is focused on Lily and Kace whos father has been killed and was the creator of the organization. Kace is out for revenge on Camilla his mother who did the killing and used the members of the organization as her pawns to do her dirty work killing countless innocent people. I liked that it was dual personality book reading from Lily's point of view was interesting its a softer side to the story. The sex was hot and of course a pleasure to read. Dispite all the action and violance the love between Kace and Lily was great they stuck together through so much. Even with all the action there was still some bits that made me laugh and kept the book from being overly serious. I enjoyed the book not my usual type but I love to try new things I give it four stars.- Tiffany

Another action filled stunning ride ahead 😍😍😍

Woah... So much is going on in this one. After that shattering cliffy at the end of book 1, I was all over the place and when I started this book I was so scared to go ahead.

Kace and lily are in hiding. It is extremely difficult for lily to comprehend this new reality and thinking about how much it would hurt her family is breaking her.

Kace is obsessed with revenge and taking down his mother. But first he'll have to find out everything there is that's hidden.

Though, as he begins to uncover things, secrets come out that turn his world totally off his axis and amidst all that new unknown enemies are surfaced and they'll all have to join forces if they want to come out of this alive.

What a surprise was learning about who axel's family is and having the support of the motorcycle club behind their backs.

Oh my... This book was everything and if you love lots of action, spy missions, mafia, Motorcycle club, dangerous secrets and a suspense that'll keep you on the edge of your seats, then you definitely don't want to miss this one. Loved loved this one. ❤️❤️❤️

Talk about starting off book two with a bang! We see a lot of things happening around Kace and Lily's deaths. We see a lot of things happening around SO7 and The Agency. At Lily's funeral, Kace's mother shows up. What happens at the funeral? What does Kace do that almost gets Lily caught by another Operative from The Agency, or another Agency? Who are the two blonde men at Lily's funeral and why does she think they look familiar? Who are they? Things really get turned up heat wise in this book from bombings, to all sorts of other explosive and readily burning materials. What happens when Lily sees an old picture that is about to fall apart of Kace's father? Who are Ares and Ezra? This book is FULL of surprises coming out of the woodwork right and left! Wow. This was a really great read and I look forward to the next book in the series!

I thoroughly enjoyed the first book in the Vindicated series, Deceit and eagerly anticipated reading Liberate. This book cannot be read as a standalone, you need to have read Deceit, as the story line picks up from where the first book left off.

Honestly the first half of this book is on the slower side, and the characters spend a lot of time in their heads, confronting their own neurosis. Once the plot, drama, action and intrigue picked up I literally couldn't put this book down I was completely captivated and engaged.

I loved the banter between the characters it's fun and flirty, and quite often has a touch of humor or sarcasm. I really enjoyed the interactions between the various characters and the chemistry is intense between the hero and heroine.

A heat filled romance, full of twists and turns. Some of the questions raised in Deceit are answered, but slowly more is revealed and you are left with more questions than answers, and I eagerly await the next title in this series.

This is the second book in the Vindicated series and is not a standalone, this book starts exactly where the first book ended. Boy what a ride the reader is taken on! I don't want to give anything away so I won't say much about the story other than there are a lot of the questions are answered but there's more unanswered!! Lily and Kace are still together, the chemistry between them is still off the charts and the sex melts your kindle!! I loved his team ( or Lucas! ) they are so protective of lily and Kace and go above and beyond to help them get answers. There are more background characters introduced, I hope we get more of them in the next book. There's also hint of another relationship blossoming, hope we see that play out. Overall another fab read from these authors, can't wait for the next book in this series.

Liberate is the second book in the Vindicated series and an absolute five star read. This book picks up where Deceit finished and also gives us a little insight into what actually happened at the end. Both Addison Jane and KE Osborn have outdone themselves with the second book. This book will keep you captivated from start to finish. Kace and Lily are the type of characters that will hold your attention and your heart. The second instalment in this series is full of surprises, suspense, drama and soul gripping love. I am not sure whether it is Molly or Luca who makes you laugh the most at the things these two say and do. The whole SO7 team will feel like family and you will become invested in each and everyone of these characters. The ending of this book will not disappoint, with it leaving you yearning for more, so what more can I say than bring on book 3.

I was completely torn up at the end of Deceit. I didn't know what was going on and who was good and who was bad....and it was AMAZING!!! Addison and KE did an amazing job of keeping me in the best kind of suspense moving into this book. Liberate is the conclusion to the Kace and Lily's story and picks up right after the end of Deceit. They keep the questions going and the tension in high gear as they take you through the minds of some seriously messed up people. It is heartbreaking and funny and masterfully written. There are twists and turns that you don't see coming and the secondary characters are superb in this book. Addison and KE are great together. There aren't enough good words that I can write about this book. It is a 100+ star read!!!

Liberate is book two in the Vindicated series. Must read Deceit to know what's going on in this one. After the way Deceit ended, I couldn't wait to get ahold of this book and find out what happens. This story is so captivating, suspenseful, intriquing and awesome! It was heartstopping at times, and It keeps you guessing right to the end. All the characters were great, I liked their banter, and how they would do anything to protect eachother. This is a must read!

Liberate by Addison Jane and KE Osborn is a dark-ish read. Liberate is book two in The Vindicated Series and is not a stand-alone. For better understanding I recommend to read Deceit- book one, first.
Liberate picks up where Deceit ends up. Lily and Kace are together and hidden away, but the danger isn´t over. Kace´s team investigates. And while he´s busy, Lily slowly slips in the dark.

I couldn´t put this book down. I didn´t wanted it to end but I couldn´t not know what happened to the characters.
And I really can´t wait till the next installment releases .
4,5 Stars and Thank you Addison Jane and KE Osborn!

What does it take to get a happy ending?

I liked this story. I enjoyed the fast pace in the beginning of them on the run. It was filled with action and hot tense romance. But it lagged in the middle and brought my interest in the story down a little. It picked up and a happy ending was the result.
I guess I wanted a little more suspense and twists to give it that heart stopping feeling, but I just never got there.
Good story but felt like it was missing something dramatic.

You put your trust in the very people that nearly ruins you. I'm very sure they have already ruined other's. Power players do just that. The more they have, the more they want. And the less they care who they maim and kill
The hot men are to the rescue again. Taking out the rubbish and protecting the innocent. Will Kade take out his mother?
This book surprised the hell out of me!

Everything I thought I knew from boom one was a lie. Deceit was the perfect name for the book. However, knowing that Kade is still alive and his mother is happy and is using his and Lily death to bring on more betrayal has changed Kade.

Kade had always been the good guy. Willing to protect the innocent without any recognition at all. But learning that his team all along has been the terrorist and his mother sent.the waste order on his father, himself, and Lily. Although, his team helped him Lily and Kade made it out. But it's not over. It's time to bring down mommy dearest.

Kade's mom or rather The agency made a mistake when they decided to take Kate's life. Kade and Lily ate now ghost and they are on a mission. A mission to seeking revenge, justice for both him and Lily, and for the many innocent lives he unknowingly took, and the families he destroyed.

Although, Kade and Lily are ghost, the rest of S07 are alive and kicking. Kate's mom knows how deep the ties are with the group. Having a waste order carried out on Kade will cause the rest of the group to start asking questions. She can't outright put a waste order on the whole group as they are the best at what they do and question will arise. Therefore, she comes up with a side plan, she has Lily's birth brothers go after S07.

Well holy shit, Max... Well Jack is alive! Kade's dad is still alive. It seems that Camilla and Mark didn't do their job at killing all that well. However, he did loose one of his legs below the knee.

Also, it seem that both Lily & Kade are learning that you can't judge a person by their parents. Especially now since Lily's biological brothers want to get to know her and be a part of her life. In addition, they are not into the same shit their dad and uncle are in.

The plot thickens...

Holy fuck, I love it!!! Lily waltz in and saved the day. I can't wait to start book 3.

Holy crap on a cracker

Wow.. mind blown ! Seriously just when i thought i knew what was going to happen next BOOM! Plot twist! .
I have to just say that Addison Jane and K.E Osborn freakin rock when it comes to stories like these ones . They obviously get on well and seem to have the same mind set when it comes to writing a book together. Im loving their writing style and the stories that they write together are truely non stop action drama lust revenge and humor.
And the vindicated series has all of that in spades. I for one cannot wait to read more .. bloody brilliant 5 star read from me.

Many questions are answered in this book, although I'm sure it's not going to be the last one in the series. Things have gelled within the team and certain things have come to light within the organization.

Pretty good read.

This is the second book following Deceit, and it was just as amazing as the first if not better! We got to see all the characters from the first book in ways you wouldn’t have ever guessed! We got all the laughter and more compared to the first book! With Luca, Kace’s best friend and one of his team members, they come up with a plan to figure out the big picture and what’s actually going on. Now that Lily and Kace have his team at their back protecting them, they are still forced to lay low and watch from a distance since they are technically “dead”. I do have to say I got a little tired of hearing lily complain and become depressed every few minutes for a few chapters. Yes, it’s tough pretending to be dead and knowing your family thinks you’re gone while there’s nothing you can do, but Kace, his team, and even some surprise MC members are at their back helping. I loved that we got to see different sides of all the team members of the SO7. This second book was packed with so much action, so many surprise parts and then some more questions! While trying to figure out why Kace’s own mothers wanted them dead, and now she wants his entire team dead as well, they must figure out how to stop everything before they have no time left. We were introduced to Ezra and Ares and I can’t wait to figure out where that could go. Can lily have a relationship with them? We also figure out that Max from book 1, isn’t just Max, but Jack and how he plays into all of it! Like I said, total shocker moments! I can’t wait to get my hands on book 3 and find out where the mysterious girl could be and how Ezra and Ares were able to locate her after so long!!! This book was just so good, I have to say one of the best, action packed, full of love and laughter stories I have read in a long time! Can’t wait for book 3, and maybe more!!!

Part 2 of a Duet - This is NOT a STAND-ALONE read!

This is NOT a STAND-ALONE! This is basically the second part of a Duet featuring Kace and Lily. It does end on a mini-cliffhanger (not involving the H/h) that sets up the next story, but it is available to read right away through KU or for purchase.

** The first story of the series must be read before this one **

⛔️ Contains references to, or scenes detailing, subject matter that may be a trigger or offensive to some, including: adult language; derogatory terms; mental health challenges; steamy adult intimate scenes with dominance, submission, restraints, spanking for pleasure, etc.; violence stereotypical of the genre such as kidnapping, abduction, murder, death, torture, assault, fighting, betrayal, coercion, blackmail, threats, subterfuge, money laundering, gun running, cheating, terroristic acts, etc.

There are a few grammatical issues but they are minimal and primarily comprised of incorrect word choice, missed words and an extra inserted word. I am mentioning these for readers such as myself that visualize the story as it is read, because errors interrupt the flow.

This part of the Duet picks up not long after the end of the previous, with a recap of actions taken in a series of flashbacks. A lot of “strings” that were planted during the first story have been addressed while the H/h search for their HFN.

>Book Review – Liberate
>I am an independent reviewer. This book is 2nd in the Vindicated series and ends in an HEA. A hidden story behind Lily and Kace’s survival shows that the team is fully behind Kace. Kace and Lily are hiding out, while the team is trying to get info to take the bad operatives out. There is a lot in this story that is very hard to believe. The Syndicate sends 2 goons to take out Lily and Kace. Kace captures them, but lets them go. After kidnapping the goons once again, the head of the Syndicate stops a car the goons are in. Only the goons are reclaimed, no one is killed. For such a ruthless bunch, this lack of action made no sense.
>The romance between Lily and Kace is still strong, but the strange secrets, especially involving Max, seemed too odd. How did Max rent a room in a psych facility and no one tell Lily he was only a temp there? This book is appropriate for an adult audience. I am giving this book 3 stars. The plot had way too many holes to make sense.

Liberate (The vindicated 2)

This is the second book in this series by this author. This is the continued story of Kace and Lily, the story unfolds more in this book. This book starts off with a major storyline which will have you hooked. This book is filled with lots of suspense, drama, mystery and twists and turns. The banter between the characters and their chemistry is more developed in this book. Some of the questions from the first book are answered in this book, but some aren't and you will have to read book three to find out more. This is an amazing addition to this series.

I was given a copy of this book and this is my honest review

Believing Kace and his team may know more than they’ve been told, the agency helps out by staging Kace and Lily’s funeral bringing out more big guns. Flirty Molly insists on knowing every secret Lily, Kace and the team haven’t shared so she can continue her life as before. (No free guess on if that’s typical behavior here or how it goes.)

There’s quite a bit of sex and running around eluding people who know the team’s moves almost as well as they do. This outing is a disconnect for this reader. The story got a little better but the character’s ridiculous actions don’t sync with the supposed maturity, age and experience. It’s easy to believe they follow people to get to any destination, even home!
