Caitlyn O' Leary amazes me ONCE AGAIN, this time with this AWESOME crossover, Cooper's Promise! The romance...the HOT sexual tension....the suspense...just perfectly blended together. I LOOOOOVED this story SO HARD and am SO EXCITED to show everyone just how much. For a short story, this had everything and MORE. I never get bored with a book by Miss O' Leary and she is one of those authors I HIGHLY recommend for a fantastic suspenseful romance with so much passion and heart-thumping action. You will NOT be disappointed!

Brenna is one persistent, strong minded woman. She knows what she wants and is working her way there, even though she has the occasional second thought on pursuing him. She has been in love with Cooper since her 16th birthday. Cooper, is the best friend of Brenna's brother. Cooper believes that Brenna is off limits because of her brother. She moved across the country to be closer to him. He is there for her in every way he can be without actually being with her. Cooper is so afraid of his feelings for Brenna that he shuts her out and shuts her down, not allowing her to say how she cares for him. When a guy starts to show posessive tendencies towards her, Cooper takes action to keep her safe, but fails to catch him quick enough. Will he get there in time to save her? You will have to get this one to find out. Caitlyn's books draw you in from the beginning.

When Brenna dates the wrong guy who becomes a possessive stalker, Cooper goes into protective mode. Still fighting obvious feelings for her, it's a game of cat and mouse all round. Will Brenna be hurt by the stalker? Will Cooper come to the rescue or lose her before he had her? Another exciting, dramatic tale by this author. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I fell in love with Caitlyn O’Leary’s books years ago. Cooper’s Promise didn’t disappoint. Caitlyn books are filled with just the right amount of everything to keep you turning those pages.
I love the strong willed women she writes about and Brenna is one of those. She knew what she wanted even though being told “you’re too young, you need to live and experience life”. She moves heaven and earth to be close to Cooper. They become best friends. Cooper kept Brenna at arms length...she’s too young, hell she’s Hudsons little sister. He has his own inner battle, his childhood wasn’t a good one, Will Brenna realise down the line that he wasn’t the be all! It takes Australia and a stalker to see that Brenna is now all grown up and he goes all Omega Package on her!!!
Great novella, well written with believable storyline and characters. A quick and easy read where you’ll fall in love with Cooper!

Cooper and Brenna's story rocks!! I love how this shorter novella delivered all the feels and heavy punch just like a full length novel would. I was fully invested in the story as well as the characters and had the happy-feel-good-sighs when I reached the last page.

Cooper had some pretty heavy hang-ups and didn't want to screw up things with Brenna, but he sure could put his foot in his mouth. lol But he also figured out how to make up for it magnificently! Brenna was awesome in how she played the damsel only halfway in distress (rocked both being strong and being vulnerable) and didn't let Cooper slide and called him out on his crap. Loved the family feels/dynamic to things too, with her brother and Cooper's bosses.

Definitely a great summer read while chillin' (or sweatin') out on the deck!

Excellent Read!
This was part of a kindle world release, which, sadly no longer exists, but it is going to be rewritten, taking it out of the kindle world and fitting it to the author's series.
A crush isn't always a crush and age doesn't always matter either. Brenna has all but danced naked in front of Cooper to get him to notice her. She is all grown up and wants Cooper. He has some misguided sense of loyalty, and she finally gives up. That's when things go haywire and she's in danger. Hopefully Cooper gets his head out of....well, you know.
I honestly cannot wait to read the new and improved version.

Cooper's Promise a great quick read.

Caitlyn O'Leary knows how to write the best HEA endings and this book has a powerful ending. Cooper and Brenna were perfect forever and had truly been in love for over a year without admitting it to themselves or each other. Watching them work their way to becoming a couple made this book so worthwhile. Stalkers and big brothers be damned you will love Cooper's Promise. The quality of the writing and character development will amaze you.

This is a lovely story of friends who want to be more! There is an age difference between Brenna and Cooper but she is determined to make him see her as the woman she is, not the girl she was. Throw in a stalker, and this book really keeps you on your toes. I loved the ending.

Cooper, a former Army Ranger and now an employee of the Omega Team, has wanted his best friend, Hudson's, younger sister, Brenna, for two years. But she's two years younger than him, there's the bro code you don't break, and he's scared. That last one he hasn't fully admitted to himself yet though. Now that she's in Tampa with him he's found it harder over the past few months to avoid her, emotionally, physically, and verbally putting distance between them.

Brenna, intent on becoming an advocate, has been in love with Cooper for two years, but he's never given any indication he feels the same way. No matter the length of a story, Caitlyn O'Leary gives you one you can't help but enjoy. And Cooper's Promise is no exception. Brenna and Cooper have known each other for years but Cooper is struggling to see Brenna as more than his best friends sister, or is he? In an effort to distance Brenna from his heart he hurts her. But with a stalker having her firmly in his sights, has Cooper's efforts to protect his heart cost him more than he ever anticipated? I really enjoyed Brenna. She went after the man she wanted. She uprooted her life and found a way to have the future she wanted while getting to know the man who held her heart. But she can't force Cooper to "see" her. She also refuses to beat a dead horse so after one too many painful slights, she decides to make a change. Can she believe in Cooper's change of heart once he finds out? Ms. O'Leary gives us a strong female character who makes her man work for it. Brenna may love him but she will not allow Cooper to blow hot and cold forever. This story is well written and allows us to see what makes Cooper tick. His past has reared it head in ways he doesn't expect but he is determined to fight not only his demons but also for the woman he loves. The journey that Ms. O'Leary takes us on is well articulated and believable. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing Brenna put Cooper through his paces and they fight for their happily ever after.

I love Caitlyn O'Leary. As yet again with my knotty self, I was introduced to her books late, Declan from the first book in the new Shadow Alliance series was my first taste, and it was like eating a meal from a Michelin chef. (That's kinda like Gordon Ramsey, or Bobby Flay good!)

Now, I've read this offering, a hybrid of the new Shadow Alliance series by Caitlyn, and The Omega Team from Author Delilah Devlin. (Of course, I went and bought those too!)

In this book, Cooper Laughlin is a member of Omega team. He has a little issue of having a crush on his best friend's baby sister, and even though she's 23 years old, he still see her as too young and experienced, especially for his darker desires.

Brenna has been in love with Cooper her whole life it seems, and she even moved her schooling to be closer to him. But after he says the wrong thing to her, she decides to move on. But when a stalker decides to become obsessive and turns from creepy to dangerous, Cooper finally realizes that Brenna may just be what he's needed all along. Question is, is it too late?

Aside from this being a novella, it's packed full of the uber-Alpha heroes that Ms. O'Leary is just so talented at writing, and Cooper is hot, sexy, and dominant, just like I like them! Brenna may be inexperienced, but she's smart, sassy, and takes no prisoners. No-one is taking Brianna for granted! Just loved this Kindle World novella.

I loved this book! I loved the push/pull that Cooper and Brenna engaged in but when it mattered they teamed up to face her stalker.

Short but perfectly formed goodness!!

Brenna has been lusting after her big brothers friend, Cooper for years. She even moved college and across country to be near the dense oaf!! Cooper on the other hand surely loves her but feels she is way too young for an old man in his early 30s. He wants her to experience life first because he couldn't handle losing her is she suddenly wants out.

But when a failed date turns into an aggressive stalker Cooper goes into protective alpha mode, just what he does best. Her brother also weighs along with a few well known characters from earlier books. The stalker storyline is well written and very atmospheric. Brenna is a brilliant mix of feisty and naive and Cooper is so honourable he may hurt himself! Absolutely fantastic!!!

I am getting a little addicted to Caitlyn's SEALs this short novella had me hooked on Cooper from the get go.
Honourable to a fault, he's driving Brenna to frustration. Enough for her to take a job in Australia. And when Coop finally gets that he may have blown it with the only girl he's ever loved. He's going to have to work hard to get her to change her mind. It doesn't go smoothly either as Brenna has got a stalker on her tail. Can Brenna make Coop realise that he needs to let her in, before its too late for both of them?

That's an amazing roller coaster of emotions and events, passion and feelings escalating with the story, always very well narrated and prepared. I am a very addicted reader of Caitlyn stories, and always waiting with hungry the next one because when you are in a story you would never reach the end. Cooper and Brenna are two living souls much similar to all of us with scaring feeling towards the other, and what they experience would be very similar to one of us...what is a pity is that for many friends I have playing war games in Seals team and Delta Teams, I never end living adventures like this one....

Cooper's always had a thing for his buddy's little sister but he thought she was too you and too inexperienced for him. He tries to do the honorable thing and stay away from her...until he finds out her ex-boyfriend is stalking her....and then all bets are off, Brenna has had the hots for Cooper forever but he refuses to acknowledge them. She's tried to date other people in the hopes of forgetting Cooper but it hasn't worked well. She's finally fed up with things and, when a position opens up in another country, she jumps at the chance. Too bad her ex doesn't seem to want to let her go. Very good story. I really enjoyed it.

A sizzling, suspenseful novella of romance at its best!!!

Cooper is a member of the Delta Team. He is 31 to his best friend Hudson’s baby sister Brenna who is 23. He works hard to keep her in the friend zone. Brenna moved to be near Cooper two year ago, and fed up with being stuck in the friend zone tries to date. When one date turns into a stalker suddenly all bets are off, and zones get crushed.

A suspenseful, frustrating, sweet, sizzling ride of a romance!! Their chemistry is off the charts!!

Did anyone want to smack some sense into Cooper? I know I did, with that thought out of the way, I truly enjoyed the storyline. Loved Tanya although she was a secondary character, I hope she gets her own book. Brenna has been in love with Cooper, not only is her her brother's bestfriend but he is also older. Will she be able to het him to see her as more or will all be lost. Cooper is so alpha male, this story took on a sinister turn with Brenna being stalked, but I loved how the author incorporates humor within the story. I volunteered to read an ARC.

Cooper has a thing for his best friend's baby sister, but she she isn't a baby any more. Brenna is very much into Cooper, and tired of waiting for him to figure things out. Thinking he still sees her like a sister she plans on taking a job out for the country for the next 5 years, Cooper just about loses his mind. Then there is the kind of stalkerish guy she dated a couple of times. I loved these two, and even cried once or twice.

I'm really liking these cross over books. It gives you a chance to meet new characters and keep up with the old. Brenna has been in love with Cooper forever. Cooper has recently started to notice Brenna. Will the two of them be able to make a connection before it's too late? This is a must read.
