A tale of romance with flirtatious banter, action, suspense, true friendship, and sensuous passionate romance. There is a happy ever after but not before conquering a slew of obstacles.
Scarlett is in on the run, needs a safe heaven and going to Freelance Undercover Resolutions {F.U.R.} is her only option. Greg, the laid back IT genius for F.U.R. is the only one home when Scarlett arrives unannounced. He knows the feisty she-wolf is not herself and wants answers she is unwilling to give. Greg also knows she is his true mate, but a horrific past keeps him from claiming her. Scarlett is scared and angered by Greg’s refusal to mate. When another unannounced guest turns up at F.U.R. Greg unleashes his Alpha wolf temper surprising Scarlett. Greg must make a decision to let go of the past, claim his true mate or lose her forever.
Fast-paced, and fabulously written. The author does a fantastic job luring readers into the story with the intriguing plot and breathtaking scene descriptions. Greg’s story is heartbreaking but Scarlett made him stronger and her tenderness eases his tortured soul. I loved Greg and Scarlett together; their chemistry is rock solid and their romance is filled with fiery passion and unwavering devotion. The author does a great job showing that not everything is what it appears. This was an exciting read and I loved it. If you love shifter fantasy this is an excellent book for your library. In the world of shifter romance, the magic begins with the first thought to paper. {I voluntarily review this advanced reader copy}. Without reservations, I recommend this book.

Greg is the IT man for F.U.R. - Freelance Undercover Resolutions and Scarlett is the sister of his boss's mate. Scarlett and Greg are mates. But Greg feels that he is a broken shifter because of his past and he can't claim her. And because of his past, Greg cannot stand anyone to touch him. Scarlett has run away from her pack because the Alpha is trying to force her to mate with his son Jimmy, who is her best friend from childhood. Jimmy shows up at the mansion and tells her that his father is getting worse. Jimmy and Scarlett finally tell Greg what has happened - that Tomas (Jimmy's father) had drugged Jimmy and sent him to force Scarlett to mate with him, but Scarlett knocked Jimmy out and then ran. Greg makes a plan to go back to the pack with Jimmy and Scarlett and find the drug and set Tomas down as Alpha and put Jimmy in his place. The plan works and Tomas is to go before the Shifter Council to be charged with his crimes. Greg finally admits that Scarlett is his mate and tells her about his past and that now she is helping to heal him and that he wants her to touch him. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

Scarlett stays at the house Greg is using as a need to lay low from her alpha for the time being. Forcing their lust for each other to come to a head with them trying to play it off and act all cool until the alpha's son sneaks into Scarletts window and causing her to tell Greg why she is hiding away.
Final thoughts
This was a great read. I loved the chemistry between them and I absorbed this so quick.
Nice quick romance made me feel happy reading it.
Scarlett is a strong wolf, not submissive so she stands up for herself at lot. Greg is dominant too but hes more dominant than her. I thought their relationship was very steamy!

Greg is the quiet easygoing IT guy but he has a side that he keeps hidden, he's damaged, so when Scarlett turns up, scared and running from something he's torn, she's his mate but he's unwilling to inflict his demons on her by claiming her but his need to protect her overrides everything else, can Greg make peace with his past so he can have a future with Scarlett ?
Once I started this book I didn't want to put it down, Scarlett is a sassy Alpha and no way is she going to let Greg off that easy and I love Greg's two sides, relaxed and easygoing but underneath, domineering (in a good way) and all Alpha male *swoon*

Enjoyed the Alpha Protector series. I was waiting for Greg’s story as I knew it would be special. He was always so low key.......I knew he would be a real bad boy! Great author.

Brilliant
Olivia Arran is an extremely good writer. The stories just flow from the first page to the last. I've to a few more downloaded to read and I can't wait.

Scarlett had run scared from her pack into the arms of the man of her dreams. Greg knew she was his mate but was fighting the pull tooth and nail. When Jimmy showed up all hell broke loose. No way was Greg going to let him take his woman arranged mating or not. They all head back to her pack to face the music and then the real fireworks start.

Greg is by far the least likely IT guy!!! He's tall, ripped, handsome and sizzlingly hot. But he enjoys his overwatch position, looking after the guys and watching their six. He seems to have an aversion to touching others. He also has some ingrained trust issues from his childhood which seem to have a hand in his no touch policy.
Scarlett may be the sister in law of his team mate but when she turns up on his window ledge (yup no doors for this girl!!!) he knows she is in deep trouble. Scarlett lusts after the tall drink of water that could go a long way to quenching her romantic thirst. But she is on the run from a demented alpha and doesn't want to bring any more problems to their door. But when she realises that Greg is her mate, she knows he's in this whether she wants him to be or not.
With hidden, traumatic childhood secrets and a problem with touching others, Greg is the epitome of mysterious! Scarlett is headstrong, loyal and has a streak of rebel a mile wild!! They are a great couple and the sparks really flew between them. The dialogue is snarky and witty. The secondary characters are all fleshed out properly and not just window dressing. I loved that even when the whole Scare-Bear situation is explained, Greg's possessive streak was still evident around her friend!

I loved this book. A very interesting and entertaining storyline. The characters were really sweet, but also stubborn and possessive, and infuriating. This book had me gripped from beginning to end. A very enjoyable and exciting read!

Olivia Arran's characters have gotten to my heart yet again. Greg is an alpha wolf through and through. He is the IT guy for the Alpha Protectors. He is smart, sexy, funny and easy going but on the inside he is independent, broody, fears being touched, angry and full of self doubt. Scarlett is an alpha female wolf. She wants to decide her own destiny. She doesn't want to be told what to do or who to mate. The chemistry between these two characters is explosive. Olivia has done a wonderful job with Watchers: Reckless Desires book 5 in The Alpha Protectors series. Her ability to show that even strong alpha types need someone in their life to balance them and to love them. This book got four stars because it is a little slower than the rest of the series and the other characters we love don't interact as much do there's no catching up with favorite characters. I received an ARC from the author. I've chosen to review this book. This is my honest review.

I recommend this series if you really enjoy paranormal romances. Each book can be read as a standalone.
This time Greg meets his mate. He is the IT guy for the group and the one there when a wolf shifter in need arrives at the office. Scarlet is a shifter on the run and in need of the kind of protection the FUR team is know to provide. While they know they belong together, Greg's past and the current situation make it difficult for them to celebrate finding their mate.
It is a well-written story with good characters. The pace is fast and keeps your interest. I enjoyed the romance between Greg and Scarlet. They have this immediate connection and a very strong attraction but he tries to deny acting on it. He has some serious issues to work through.

Oh my goodness Olivia has done it again. Greg and Scarlett's story is amazing. Greg is like all the other alphas in F.U.R. he has issues he just hasn't and won't share. He is damaged and does not want to put that on anyone, especially his true mate Scarlett. Scarlett is running from her alpha and pack she is being forced to mate to the alphas son, her best friend, even though she and her wolf knows that Greg is her true mate. This series is one of my favorite shifter series, I love all the guys of F.U.R. I hope we see more of them in the future!

Scarlet became a Watcher when her life went spiraling out of control. So did Greg but then they were both a Watcher, together!What an excellent romance by an excellent author! Scarlet began running away from her best friend when she did not know what to do with him. She ran right into Greg who believed he was broken. Seems he was simply just a little misplaced until he met his true mate and he began to get knitted back into right thinking. Follow along as these two get together and follow their true calling. I received a gifted copy. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review. I honestly love this story and this series!

I just love Ms. Arran's stories there just the complete package. You have a dominant alpha to die for, a strong somewhat broken woman, a strong story line and an adventure with your romance. What is not to love nothing if you ask me.
I believe this draws the Alpha Protectors series to a close. I'll miss those alpha bad boys. Scarlett comes sneaking into a bedroom since she doesn't have a key. Turns out the bedroom is Greg's her true mate but he won't accept her. Scarlett just needs a place to hideout and think for a few days.

I believe this draws the Alpha Protectors series to a close. I'll miss those alpha bad boys. Scarlett comes sneaking into a bedroom since she doesn't have a key. Turns out the bedroom is Greg's her true mate but he won't accept her. Scarlett just needs a place to hideout and think for a few days.

Greg and Scarlett have a lot to overcome. Past histories that neither one can walk away from, but they also realize that they can't walk away from each other either. Lots of hot , sexy moments interspersed with anger, fear and the need to not screw it up before it begins. 4☆'s !! Great characters and fantastic storyline. Definitely for 18+ . I received a gifted copy and am voluntarily choosing to leave an honest and unbiased review .

I voluntarily received a complimentary copy of this book and loved every page from start to finish!!! This story has everything love, suspense, action, intensity and hotness! Greg is a true alpha and i absolutely love him and all his flaws. Scarlett is a strong woman and i love a story with a woman who knows what she wants and doesn't simper in the shadows just waiting! Thank you Olivia. Look forward to reading Guardian next

Fast paced read filled with stubborn, possessive and infuriating Alpha male and female. There also lots of action, suspense, loyalty, and friendships we can't forget steamy passionate romance. Overall a enjoyable and entertaining read. I voluntarily read and review this ARC I haven't been compensated in any way.

Another good book in this series.
I liked the drama in this book as it was believable and not overblown. Very good story.
It was good to see Scarlet and Greg finally get their HEA even though Greg threw quite a few obstacles in their way.
Jimmy was funny, hope we get his story one day.

Another great addition to this series - although it can be enjoyed as a stand alone. I was thoroughly entertained by this fast paced, action packed and sizzling hot one session read. Loved Greg's journey of knowing Scarlett is his mate to accepting and embracing it in full. Can't wait for more books from Olivia. This is a complete voluntary review for a free copy.

Omg, men. I was so into this book and really got into Scarlett and Greg's characters. He's a hot alpha and very unsure. She was scared and wanted him. But like a happily ever after there comes trials and tribulations. They had a very long journey but it ended just like it was supposed to. I received a free copy for a voluntary review and I'm so glad I read it since I loved her work before.
