Cheesy at times, but one of the few books with the potential to change all of the relationships in your life for the better

This book mostly informs personal applications and is heavy on the "discover the other party's interests and negotiate a win-win solution" approach. Some food for thought and some interesting anecdotes.

I'd have liked a paradigm for when win-lose negotiations are desirable and how best to pursue such, but the point of this book was to deny that win-lose situations need exist. A bit idealistic.

I'm learning mediation, but this book really could be great for anyone who has conflict -- that's everyone right?? Just a really solid book on how to negotiate anything so that it's a win-win for everyone involved. Loved it.

Enjoyed it. I read it for a management class, but it teaches you lessons you can use in everyday life as well. Great Business/Self-Help book.
