I received an copy from the author for my honest review, so here it is. This is a perfect ending to a great story. Lexi has been able to put most of her past behind her with the help of Kole. He has helped her move on from what his cousin Matt did to her. With the bff Megan and her boyfriend Radley, life seems to be perfect. Well that is until Kole's ex Miley shows up. Miley had her chance with Kole and she blew it by sleeping with someone else. Now she thinks she can get Kole back, only wish there would have been something to get rid of Miley from Lexi and Kole's lives. Kole has opened a gym, Lexi has found her father, whom she thought didn't want her anymore. When her mom gives her letters and cards from him. She goes to him and meets his wife Kate and their two sons Kyle and Tyler. Lexi has brothers and could not be happier. I am loving C.A. Harms writing style. Grab yourself something to drink and find a place to put your feet up and get lost in her stories. I have loved them all and look forward to reading more.

This is the second book in the " Desired Affliction " series by author C.A. Harms . But let me tell you this if you have not read the first book you don't know what your missing out on.

After reading the first book I knew this book was to be good . But this book was even better than what I thought it was going to be. This book went and blow me out of the water with this story and all the characters. This book was so over full of all different kind of emotional roller coaster of emotion that at time had me gasping and on the edge of my seat the whole way through . I fell in love with this story and the character in this book . This book was full some smoking hot sexual chemistry that will have you needing cold shower. But this book also pulls on my heart string so many times .

Lexi has suffered a very bad traumatic experience be for she came to college . That left her spiraling out of control and she start becoming some one the thought she would be. She decide she need to change who she has become . But that is easier said than done but with her best friend she know she can do this .But when she see some one form her past it my put the brake on her get back what she was trying to get back. Once Kole see Lexi he cant get her out of his mind. She try's to push him way but when he find out why she trying to push him away. He will fight for her and will not give up until she is his . Can he help her over come her past so they can have a future together or will what happen in her past be to much for her to over come.

Kole knows she the one he want to spend the rest his life with . But they have to learn handle what life through at the them . He will have to ride the roller coaster of what life will through at them .he will have to face his own past demon that come and try to take Lexi away from him. Can they both over come their past and their fear so they can have a happy ever after or will it be to much for them to handle.

I really fell in love with this book . But their is a whole more to this story I did not tell because this is a must read book. I cant wait to read more from this author in the future.

3 years later and WOW what a difference in Lexi and Kole !! They are both working very hard to move on with their lives as a couple. Lexi is doing great in school , going to counseling and actually helping out with counseling others. Kole has started a gym and is seriously so OVERLY devoted to Lexi it is amazing. This guy who did not want a relationship that now puts his relationship first !! He is eager to take the next step but Lexi is hesitant because once again someone from Kole's past is moving in on their relationship. This other side of Kole we see is even more HOT than in book 1 !! He is so loving , protective and very very persuasive !! He always gets what he wants from Lexi so its no surprise how they end up in the end !! Again the SEX IS SUPER HOT FANS MYSELF REPEATEDLY !!

Luckily for Lexi she gets to revisit her childhood and fix some wrongs caused by her mother , this journey causes a few bumps in the road with her and Kole but again he is always by her side trying to support and guide her towards happiness. Lexi makes a few questionable choices especially when it comes to Matt but Kole respects them. Kole also makes some questionable choices but since they have come so far in a few short years there is no breaking them apart !! The re-connections for Lexi are beautiful , the deeper bonds formed between her and Kole are heartwarming and of course the friendships between the whole gang are always being tested and supported throughout their story.

I was extremely pleased with this story , curious as to what will come next and also hoping that we get more about some of the other characters like Radley/Megan , Lexi's family , Kole's family and of course Matt.

This was a great continuation of the first book. It follows Kole and Lexi who are trying to build their life together after events occurred in the first book. Both characters have grown so much and matured in themselves, they are more trusting of each other and Kole is so loving and supportive of Lexi and his love for her is so much more in this book, he would do anything for her. To move forward together Lexi needs to banish her demons and Kole has to stop his past from hurting his relationship, especially meddling exes, can love, trust and support conquer all. This story is beautifully written and concludes the story of Lexi and Kole really well. Highly recommended, a great read as always, well done C A Harms : )

This is the second book in the series Let me refresh your memory on what happened in book 1. Lexi was just heading off to college with her BFF Megan. Lexi was just going through the motions in life not really giving a Fuck about anything especially her self-worth She felt shitty and unwanted. So, she would drink to numb it all and end up doing the walk of shame in the morning. She decided that maybe after starting college she would stop doing that and get back to "normal" whatever the Fuck that is and then... she bumps into Kole. The boy she had a crush on for as long as she could remember. He brought back so many memories Good and Bad. She has an internal struggle with her brain and her hormones on whether she should even talk to Kole or not. Her hormones end up winning, but her insecurities and past trauma make it difficult to do much of anything without screwing it up.

Kole doesn't do anything remotely close to a relationship. Just sex that is all girls are good for. He had his heart broke and Fuck if he's ever going through that again. So, he keeps it simple and thinks with his little head so he can protect his big heart! He happens to cross paths with Lexi and remembers how this cute little girl used to have a crush on him. Now she's all grown up and damn it all to hell if she isn't Fine as Fuck! So of course he wants to tap that! He has no idea she is so broken. When he finds out what happened to her all he wants to do is keep her safe, but somehow he falls for her.
The question is how can they even try to have a relationship if they can't get past their own issues? The only thing they got going solid for them is their intense physical attraction and their desire to be in a normal relationship. It's the how the hell is this gonna work factor that has them all Fucked up.

So the saga continues in book 2.....

Lexi, is dealing with her ghosts of the past and Kole has by every standard of society became P whipped! As these two try their damnedest to make it work, they experience every Fuckin speed bump in the way. C.A. Harms gurl you got me with this one! I laughed, cried and bit my nails in anticipation of what to expect next. Not to mention several panty changes from the Hot, Sweaty, Nasty, Monkey sex they had over and over and. ..OH MY GAWD did I mention Kole's tongue ring? Whew *dabs sweat from brow* that damn thing makes me crazy!!! Sorry, umm what was I saying oh ya so anyways, these two have find the strength to overcome the all the bullshit that results from their insecurites and they do make some strides but shit... I swear Kole and Lexi take two steps forward and them Bam reality sets in again. Will they ever get their HEA? I love that their is no cliffy! So go GRAB your copy today to find out!

In this conclusion to Lexi and Kole's story we find them 3 years down the road in their relationship. They are trying to continue moving foward in their lives together, and learning to remember to trust each other when life throws surprises their way. There are good times and bad times, sadness and great joy. I loved seeing their relationship grow to new highs as they started on the path to spending the rest of their lives together.

I loved Lexi's strength, love , and trust in Kole. And Kole's complete devotion to his girl puts him on my list of awsome book boyfriends. All of C.A. Harms books are amazing and this one is no exception.

What an excellent book completing the story of Lexi & Kole's love. I loved how we were able to watch them mature and grow with one another. This story showed us how important it is to remember that every relationship takes both people to make it successful especially during the struggles. This series I will definitely be re-reading again and again.

I just adored this continuation to Lexi and Kole's story, the intense love they shared for each other and the way they both were still trying to fight the demons of their past. It just seemed these demons would never leave them to be happy and kept trying to creep up to overtake their future. My heart broke so many times for Lexi and Kole in this second instalment - this really is an emotional ride with so many bumps in the road that I really didn't think they were going to make it at some point, but hoped and prayed they would.


To be honest I was even more gripped with book two. I was holding on to my kindle for dear life one minute, ugly crying the next, while swooning with the sweet romance and crying out Yes! Yes! Yes with the hot, sexy Kole moments (I can tell ya, there are many of them).


We also get to know more of Lexi and Kole's back stories and are also introduced to more family and friends, Meagan and Radley are back in full force and play a big part to this story. We also still have some of the characters that we love to hate who reared their ugly heads but this just adds to the drama and suspense of this addictive story. We are introduced to some new characters that I'm hoping are going to carry on through to book three!! *cough* Adam *winks* (military tattooed bad boy) comes to mind.


So that leads me to say I'm so excited to start book three, I cant seem to get enough of this series, and I have added C. A. Harms to my author stalking list, I don't want to miss any books from this author ever!! I know when I pick up the next book from this author I am going to get a beautifully written story with well developed characters that will draw you in from the first page and take you on a journey that leaves you breathless and wanting more.

I think I just fell even more in love with Kole!

Desired Afflictions 2 continues with more Kole and Lexi! I enjoyed reading about them in the first book but this one was so much better!!! It brought good closure to their story but definitely did not leave out the drama or a little excitement.

Kole doesn’t always make the right decisions when it comes to situations with Lexi but his devotion to her is AMAZING! The way he goes all “Caveman” around other guys is great! He definitely has a way with words too…. He can make you melt in his hand like a piece of chocolate on a hot day. He isn’t lacking in the bedroom either… his sex drive for Lexi was there throughout the ENTIRE book!

Together they have a great humor filled relationship. They can easily pick with each other without it starting a fight. They have been through so much in the past so it is good to have a way to enjoy the relationship now! You don’t always want the drama in your relationship and it can’t always be serious. They enjoy making each other happy and seeing each other laugh.

No worries though…. There is still drama in the story. One of Kole’s exes comes back into the picture. You know right away she can be up to nothing but trouble! You have drama surrounding Lexi’s parents. I love that we finally get some more information regarding them and what happened in the past! Not all the drama is revolved around Kole and Lexi either.

Overall I thought it was a great story. The ending was wonderful too… great way to finish off a story! Enjoyed the read…. Hated to finish it!

This is a continuing story of Lexi and Kole.

This story takes off where book one left off, and you follow Lexi and Kole as they are still continuing to learn from the mistakes that they make. You're going to fall even more in love with this beautiful couple! Kole is an amazing man who is so in love with Lexi and tries to show her anyway that he can that he will be there for her not matter what. He is a little damaged too and makes mistakes that he seems to be forever making up for. Lexi loves Kole but after all she has been through it is so hard to put down her guard and just let him love her. Can they finally get it right ?

This was a beautifully written and told story. I was captured in the world of pain and love. Things don't always go the way you expect but when you have someone who loves you the way these two love each other then anything is a possibility. All the characters in this book were worth learning more about. Not just Lexi and Kole. Follow this journey as Lexi learns to love and let herself be loved. When she finally finds where she belongs and feels safe living her life.

Desired Affliction 2 is the second book in this series and it only gets better.

It three years later and Kole and Lexi are still together, their love for one another has grown, Lexi still struggles at times with Kole but Kole just loves Lexi unconditional and tries everyday to show it.

An old girlfriend from Koles past tries to put a spanner in the work to derail Lexi and Koles love. Through out the book troubles from both their past come to surface and you really feel for them as they try and work through it.

Lexi is really moving forward in this book and Kole is just so in love with her, he spends all his time wanting her to be happy. Lexi says to him " You are my knight,my hero, you are my savour." And he truly is. Kole is what every girl wants, the perfect man who will love you unconditional, who will fight for you, and reassure you every day that you are his one and only.

You start to struggle for them and you really know deep down that love will concur all.

Meagan and Radley who are Kole and Lexis best friend and we met in the first book play a big part in this book.

What can I say, I can't wait to see what desired Affliction 3 holds. C. A. Harms, has just created the most outstanding book ever and I am high on love. High on happy ever after and true love. I rate this book a 5 stars and I'm going to go back a read it again. That's how much I loved it

So glad to see a happy ending for Lexi and Kole. Its three years later and Lexi is still dealing with a lot of insecurities due to being raped by Matt who is now serving time. especially with Kole’s ex popping up in the picture. And Kole is afraid that something will happen to make him lose Lexi again and he will jump through hoops not to let that happen. They go through their ups and downs, but Kole decides Lexi is who he wants to spend the rest of his life with.

They plan their wedding with a special made dress that Kole has hired for Lexi. In the meantime, Lexi finds out she is pregnant which only serves to draw them closer together because Kole is more than happy. Lexi also gets to reconnect with her father after receiving letters he has been writing over nine years that her mother kept from her. They are reunited and she finds she also has 2 brothers and a stepmom that turns out to be really neat.

Such a sweet happily ever after for this couple. I really enjoyed the book.

This is the second book in the series about Lexi and Kole, and I think that you need to have read the first book to understand the dynamics between the lead characters.

This novel revolves around growing together and settling down, with the inevitable obstacles along the way. It is sweet and as it is written from multiple viewpoints, we get to see the whole story.

It is a sweet, romantic read that does not deal with too much drama, and leaves one feeling contented. There is a third book in the series - which I am curious to read, and am guessing shifts the focus to another couple.

Omg CA Harms did it again!
Lexi and Kole's story continue, 3 years down the road. They are still madly in love with each other. However, there is always someone trying to mess things up this time Kole's ex and Kate's brother.
Lexi is trying to finish up school and volunteering at a center to help children that were like her. She is still damaged, but with a little twist she gets to make up with family that has been out her life!
Kole has opened his own gym and business is doing good. He give Lexi everything she wants and all he wants is her love I return. Miley is trying to mess things up for him. But he doesn't let her get in his way.

Many things happen with in the story; I don't want to give away to much. It does have a happy ending! Very good story!!!

I was given an ARC of the 2nd installment in this story.................and it does not fail!!!!!!!!!!!!!


The story picks up 3 years from where it ended in Desired Affliction 1.

The main characters are all in this story (Lexi, Kole, Megan and Radley) and a few other key players are thrown in for good measure.


Lexi and Kole are moving on and when you think that the struggles and pain are over and done with...........new twists and turns are popping up. Some you see coming, others just blow you away.


Again, I might sound repetitive but it was a GREAT continuation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I loved Lexi's courage and

gentle side.............she reminds me of someone I know. :)


C.A. Harms has outdone herself once more. She never fails to surprise or please me with her books.

Wow. I didn't think 'Desired Affliction 2' could be better than the 1st book, but it was. The storyline blew me away. I loved it. The way it played out was so full of emotion that I once again, as with the first book, cried, smiled, got angry and had hot flashes. I love how this book grabbed me from the first page and didn't let go. I literally could not put it down. The characters are great. The hot and steamy scenes were awesomely hot. Lexy and Kole's story is comparable to a fairy tale of sorts. C.A. Harms has once again created a great read. I can't wait to read the next book in this series. A must add to your tbr list. Highly recommended.

If you have not read the first book, you are seriously missing out!! I really didn't think I could fall anymore in love with Kole and Lexi...then this book came out. In the first book we learned what happened to Lexi and her struggles as well as Kole and his desire to love Lexi. They both proved they would not give up on each other and this book continues their story. The book picks up three years later and does not disappoint. I was so happy to continue their story! I don't want to leave any spoilers (and that is really hard not to do because there is so much I want to say) so I will quit while I am ahead; HOWEVER, WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT PASS UP THIS BOOK!!!!

I just finished this and loved it!! The story picks up 3 years after the first book ends. I was not disappointed in anything other than their story ends! All loose ends were tied up nicely, and the story flowed! The author was kind enough to send me an ARC, and would love to read more by this author! There is just enough information,it is not redundant. You can empathize with the characters without being inundated with too much information. I don't want to say too much about the story because I would not want to ruin it for everyone! This series of 2 books was wonderful, and I would highly recommend it!

Again, I was given a copy for an honest review and again I'm so glad I did. We start where we left off, Lexi & Kole together. Kole has graduated and Lexi is almost done. Kole's ex is back and is determined to cause problems. This story goes through the up's & down's of young love and how they deal with them. Lexi's feels Kole is her strength and faces thing almost head on. C.A. Harms tells a comfortable story that is easy to read and enjoy. I Love following the life's of Kole & Lexi & their friends. Look forward to more from this author.

I just finished the ARC for Desired Affliction II by CA Harms!! I give it *****stars. Crystal did a wonderful job continuing Lex and Kole's story. After all the bad things from her past pulled her into the dark it was great to see them come through all of this stronger and madly in love. This story makes you laugh, smile, pulls your heart strings and even has you panting from time to time. This is a must read as I will not give out any spoilers...... :) So, if you haven't one clicked the first book then you need to do so now and enjoy!!!

The story continuous from Kole and Lexi, in this story you also find out why Kole is feared for relationships. Both need to get past their demons can they do it together or will it destroy them?

During their 3 years relationship they get to deal with jealousy, honesty, new found relationships, strength, exes who return and lots of love. Lexi has a unexpected turn in her life what will bring her a lot of love and more family.

I loved reading this story and remember if you find the right one you will get a chance to love again.

A past that Lexi can't seem to escape, Twists and Turns that leave you shell shocked, and family ties long severed IT'S BOOK GOLD! Things are so crazy and you are left dealing with serious emotions that both warm your heart one minute and break it the next. I can't get enough of this series! I read this in a day, and was sucked in like rain in a drought! You've gotta get your hands on this book!

This is book 2 of the series, and I fell more in love with Lexi and Kole. She went through so much in book one. This book she feels insecure when Kole's ex shows up. Kole loves her so much and he proves it. Won't say. ;-) and also there's a surprise. I love Megan and rad their best friends. The ending was very sweet brought tears in my eyes. You all need to read this series. It's so good.

Absolutely loved this book! It's the 2nd in this series and I would recommend you read these in order as it book 2 picks up where book 1 left off. CA Harms gives you a romance of true love, but not without the issues of the relationship. The trust issues and the strength of trying to make wrong right! This is a wonderful series that I suggest everyone to read! But of course NO SPOILERS HERE! You must read to see for yourself!

Kole and lexi life is starting to held in the right way when kole ex miley puts a wrench in there plans. This book has some funny moments and some heartbreaking moments to make you say i didn't think it was going to that way. In the end Kole and lexi have a happy ever after . Cant wait for the next one in this series .

Kole & Lexi's story is one of my favorites. Unfortunately their path to happiness has turns & bumps in it. This only helps them to better understand each other and bring them closer. More of Lexi's past is revealed reminding us about what she's been through & how far she has come. Great read.
