I'm in love with this book!! I went on a canoe trip and had a bird book, but it was so big and I had to sift through so many birds not ever seen in this area to try to identify anything. Plus, I wanted to know the names of trees and bugs and mammals (turns out we saw muskrats, but without a book like this we thought we might be seeing the ominous nutria!) This has a sort of waterproof cover and is my new favorite thing to look at with sections on most anything alive I might see around here.
