Jarred is a determined corporate attorney. He goes after what he wants, but avoids commitment. Nevealise has a brilliant mind and sings, but she grew up with a sexist father. She's determined to live life her way.

I really enjoyed reading this novel. To finally have the man you had a crush on when you were young is great. And for him to love you back is awesome. Serenity has written another awesome book.

Great read!
This was a great start to a new series! The Manning and Tempest families have been associated for years and when the Manning's purchase the Tempest's company their connection grows. This was a fantastic romance between brilliant, but naive Nevea and worldy Jarred. I particularly enjoyed the vagueness of the epilogue that set us up for future series installments.
