I have been following this manuha for a long time, which is probably one year or so of saving pages or used to be around 300 pages and now pages 300-441.
According to the description, this manuha is about the life journey of a cultivator from a small world named Nie Li with the Heavenly God technique, where in his first life he tried very hard because of minimal resources and knowledge to reach a certain peak of strength but he was hunted by the sage emperor as the guardian of the universe there and finally died because of it. Why was he hunted down? Because the sage emperor was afraid of the cultivators who could potentially fight him and defeat him as the absolute ruler.
But surprisingly Nie Li was resurrected during childhood in the small world where he came from with the knowledge and experience of a hundred years of his life journey. After investigation he rose because of a mysterious book sheet that Nie Li got called the Book of earthly demon spirits as many as two sheets, after I read to the last page of the book sheet is a book that can control the future and past time, two are held by Nie Li and three sheets are held by Sege Emperor, where did this book come from? So this book was brought by a mysterious person who fell into the world of Nie Li who was dying and then he hunted down the peak cultivators to suck their souls but was resisted by the peak cultivators and before dying the book was torn and spread to various locations quickly.
When Nie Li awakens in the small world again, his only goal is to avenge himself on the Sage Emperor and protect all his colleagues who were killed in the past. Because many friends and people with potential were stunted and died due to lack of resources. But because Nie Li had a hundred years of peak knowledge, it was all too easy to become strong and keep his friends safe and strong.
In terms of story, in my opinion, the story is really good, the story is sequential and neat, it is reflected in the writing of the storyline and characters with strong characters, the conversation is not dizzying like most types of manuha comics, the world building is also extensive, and especially the depiction in the comics is really good, in my opinion this is the most intended manuha series.
I was very moved following Nie Li's journey from him in the small world to now being a sect leader.

The story is amazing. It is one of the best manga/light novels I read. Based on Nie li's knowledge its expected that he could get strong decently quick. But it's long at the same time.I wish the light novels were updated more often. I finished it tooo quick I've become addicted and now I'm having withdrawals I hope this story becomes very long!

October 25, 2020I think the story is quite good. This is one of my favorites for reborn to the past story. But watch out, If you read and found out that this story is good, then prepare your mind for the very long update :( because I heard has lost his interest to continue this series, so you must patient to wait.

The author lost interest in writing the story and is just rushing for a fast ending with around 1 chapter (one chapter being roughly two to three thousand words) a month. Skipping the "story" and just power upping the main character.

Cerita yang bagus dan menarik. Sayang sekali bahwa penulis kehilangan minat dan hanya mengabaikannya dengan 1bab perbulan, cerita pun dipersingkat dengan menghilang kan beberapa variable, tokoh" utama hanya muncul beberapa saat yang mengakibatkan cerita yang melenceng.

The book Tales of Demons and Gods was made by the author Mad Snail. Tales of Demons and Gods is an amazing, thrilling, action packed story that i think everyone should read if they need something to read. Tales of Demons and Gods is a story about a man called Nie Li who was a powerful demon spiritualist who died in a “fight against the sage emperor and 6 deity beats”(6) and was then miraculously reincarnated into his 13 year old self. But with this second chance at a better live he is going to make some changes to save all of his loved ones and city from death and destruction. So he plans on stopping all the bad things that happened in his past life because he was too weak to stop that from happening before.

The problem that makes me remove the 1 star is the writer: he is, as he call himself mad snail, slow like snail, he did choose to focus on another book "the great ruler" (if I m remembering the name correctly) so he pass from a daily to monthly release for the chapters.
Anyway the story is great, I want to recommend it to people but I don't want them get disappointed by slow rate of releasing issues
