"You are one of a kind. Your birthright is greatness." Seriously? He's aware he's writing for adults, right? When Gelb went on to trot out demonstrably incorrect folk theories of neurology (including the old "you only use a fraction of your mind" chestnut), he completely lost me, and I hope any educated reader. Mind-mapping may be valid and useful, this book is not.

I listened to audio book.
While the author enthusiastically explains why mind mapping can solve all world problems, he didn't exactly teach 'how' to apply it to our daily lives.
It is rich of examples of his own, and his clients' experiences with his methods, but it fails badly at showing how I, the reader, can use it.

STOP YELLING AT ME! Seriously, I felt like I was being pounded by automotive ads the entire time I listened. The information itself was good, though hardly revolutionary. If you like to brainstorm you'll know most of this already. A reminder is always helpful, however.

I think the book was good but lacked more in depth information that I was looking for. I enjoyed it but felt what I was hoping was more information on building mind maps
