A lucid read through the basics of permutations and combinations.

"Probability" in the title notwithstanding, this book is essentially just permutations and combinations. However, it does help get/refresh the intuition behind those as well as a method to solve a general class of problems involving them. A pre-requisite for programming involving these.

It's a fairly short read, almost like a 5-part blog series, but having it as a book lets us focus without getting lost in the interwebs.

Short and sweet

Really like this author. Short, sweet, and to the point, this is another great book to shore up the knowledge I've forgotten since high school.

Good, but would pay more for a couple more examples.

Good, but would pay more for a couple more examples. Liked the writing style, and link to blog and code for example.
