Good book to know basic concepts about Goal based investing. The authors P.V.Subramanyam and Pattabiraman tried to introduce all essential concepts in investing. But few chapters were advanced for a beginner like choosing a Fund manager, selecting the mutual funds with their performance etc. I liked the chapter on choosing the life insurance product.

Anybody who already has some knowledge trading and mutual funds investing can benefit from this book.
