Shy Mia loves the idea of entering a school talent contest for singer/songwriters, but just isn't confident enough, until her friends persuade her to give it a go. She's thrilled to make it through the auditions, but when she realises that another entrant might be cheating, will she be brave enough to tell the judges.

I found this book pretty good and interesting to read. It is about a shy girl named Mia, who entered a contest, and has to write her own songs and music. In this book, Mia over comes her fear of performing, by the support of friends, family, teachers and passion. And finally becomes a true musician.
Mia wants to become a musician. She enters the Silver Spires Star Contest, but she must perform on stage in front of EVERYONE! Can she do it? This is the best book of the series. It is also the last. I read SIX times (no lie).
I read the series of five books the term before I started secondary school and it got me very excited! A good series for recreational readers! Worth a go.
