Ghiselle St James has changed her style for this one. She's dipped into her inner mind and has produced a novelette, yes this one is, that has far more lustful, gritty sex than usual. Of course, those that know her aren't surprised, she's a rather forthright individual and she writes in the same manner.
So, what of the story?
Well, as she herself says, it starts as an infatuation, solidifies and then she throws in that extra ingredient, love. Is it taboo? That depends on your viewpoint, but as the author herself might say, 'It'll certainly melt your panties off. Lots of fun sex, well written with super-hot passion. An engaging storyline full of all her the usual highs, lows, twists and turns.

Wow. That's the first thing that comes to mind when I think of this book. While it was a short story, it was packed with so much... story. There was good character description and development. Layna had a lot of attitude but was so likeable at the same time. And Mr. Bowen, talk about sexy and swoon worthy book boyfriends.

While I have come to expect nothing less than engaging stories that pull you in and hold on tight from Ghiselle St. James, I love that she can do it whether it's in 100 pages or 300. Some short stories leave me feeling cheated, and wishing that there had been more so that I could hopefully connect with the plot or characters. Usually with a short story, there isn't enough there for me to make that connection. But in this case, I was wishing there was more only because I didn't want it to end. But I was absolutely left satisfied in how things played out.

So wrong, but so hot! We've all had a crush on a teacher at one point in our lives, whether it was high school or college. It's forbidden, but we can't help but fantasize about what if. Layna Carter has a crush on her math teacher Mr. Bowen. She fantasized about him and has dreams about him all the time. Is it just a dream though? Or is he thinking about her also? I really enjoyed this steamy short novella from Ghiselle St James.

Wow! They didn't have sexy teachers like this in my school, more's the pity. This is a short story novella but it is steamy from page one. The story of a 'forbidden' or at least frowned upon love affair between teacher and pupil. Alex, the new replacement maths teacher, unhappy at lowering his standards to teach at a 'rich kids' school. Layla a pupil in his class who finds she can't stop staring at him. Things soon start to sizzle with these two and I couldn't help feeling a little alarmed....what the hell Mr Bowen? The point of view of Alex in the bonus scene was a nice touch and showed he wasn't a complete douche after all. A great read.

Layna and Mr. Bowen...

This being my first of this author's books, I genuinely didn't know what to expect. I figured I would like it... I had NO IDEA how much so I would!

This story is a novella, it's short and sweet (and F***ing HOT). So since it was short, I'll leave out a lot of details.

Mr. Bowen is Layna's HOT and tattooed math teacher. She just can't stop daydreaming about him...

Mr. Bowen notices Layna too. And OH. EM. GEE.

Seriously read this in private, you'll need one of those hands for... well you catch my drift!

This sexy student/ teacher taboo romance was so wrong yet I could not put it down. I freaking loved every minute of it!

What I would have liked to have seen was a reference as to how old Mr Bowen was earlier in the story! I think for me her referring to him as Mr Bowen instead of Alex gave me the impression of him being a lot older which gave me a little creepy vibe for a bit!
Aside from that this story flowed effortlessly with their naughty steamy trysts making me blush at times.
This was a fun fast off the charts sexy taboo romance I really enjoyed!

Layna and Mr Bowen!!! Holy heck this book was extremely hot. However wrong their chemistry may be. That's what made this book so hot.

He was all Layna thought about. He was a tattoo'd sexy a$$ teacher that had all the girls drooling. But he had eyes for only one girl, Layna.

Ladies be prepared to have a jaw dropping good time reading this book!!!
Have your hubbie or batteries handy after you read this one!!!!

This was my first book by Ghiselle and I can tell you one thing for sure...this will NOT be my last. This book is taboo for sure and it is so delicious. The chemistry between Alex and Layna is smoking hot. I couldn't put this book down and ate it right up. This book is a short story but Ghiselle did a great job with it and I didn't feel as if I was missing out on anything. I highly recommend this book and can't wait to read more by Ghiselle in the future.

O.M.G. HAWT. For those that have lusted for a teacher, this book is for you for sure. There are things in here I blush even thinking about. Wowza! Thanks Ghiselle for writing such a ... well this book... that had wishing I got snowed in so I didn't have to put it down. It was well written, format was great, and the length was perfect. It's not just naughty, there is a story here as well, and I sure do like a good story! Great Job and I can not wait for more.

Well I can't tell you enough how much I loved this story. It was short and hot and OMG!! Ghiselle!!! This story... Layna and Mr. Bowen have such chemistry, I was sad it was over. (But let's be honest, my ovaries couldn't handle any more Alex Bowen!!)
