All is going well until the day of shooting. One of the other hosts is found dead in the museum attached to an old abandoned Mine. With stories of the place being haunted, it’s not long before the cast and crew start wondering whether the stories are true.
Things take a turn for the worse when the local police takeover the investigation and, in Harley’s opinion, are not doing enough to solve the murder. Despite being the outsider, Harley uses her charms and skills to examine the case herself, and along the way find out whether or not the old abandoned mine is populated by the spirits of the dead.
Harley Hill 6 is a cozy puzzle with clues that the reader can follow along with. This book can be read even if you haven’t read a Harley Hill book before. It’s a complete, standalone mystery that is fully resolved at the end.

Ok I think I give up on this series despite its fun light tone it just sucks at continuity. Harley was so petrified of flying she didn't go see her newfound parents and had to close her eyes and hold on for dear life to take a helicopter in Scotland. But here she happily jumps on a plane alone to go visit Polly in AMerica? Really? All of her friends were brief cameos in internet calls here which was also a downer. The mine story was fine and would probably be just fine if you hadn't read the series. But this just fell flat because it may as well have been a different heroine.

I love Harley Hill and even though this was a great mystery I missed Harley being with Cordi, Cole, Michael, monty and max.
It was ok to read about Harley on her own I loved the mystery but it just felt a little off without everyone together I would have enjoyed it more if at least Cole had been with her.
Overall an ok read.

Harley Hill heads to the US to be in a TV ghost show and finds herself in the middle of a murder investigation. Harley is surrounded by a group of interesting characters including a psychic named Willow Starbreeze who speaks for the Missing Fifty miners. Harley is up to her eyebrows in suspects as she questions each one to find the killer of the TV host Dave Leweski.
This is another entertaining Harley Hill story that you will enjoy reading.

Love this author!!
I really like this series with Harley, Cordi and Cole. They’re fun, quick reads and always have an interesting storyline. Kennedy Chase is a good author and tells a great story. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a little suspense.

What an utter disappointment. The series started out as a fun, decent story and devolved into a sad mess. I'm not surprised the author never bothered to finish it. I enjoyed her other series, so I'm really quite surprised by this one.

Every book in this series is well written with a different plot in each. What is especially good is that you don't have the villain made plain to you.

Murder in the Mine...mystery with a dash of humor
Another winner in the Harley Hill series.
Harley is hired by a friend to appear on “ghost Or Not?', a television show about paranormal activity. The co-host turns up dead at the site of the ' activity',,,a mine in which 50 miners died decades before. The investigator doesn't mind her snooping and encourages her to find out as much as she can.
Some of the people there are not what they're supposed to be...as Harley finds out...and her suspect pool grows and shrinks until an unexpected event throws her into a frightening situation. She keeps her head and in doing so comes across the solution to the killer.
I received an free advance copy and offer my opinion just as freely.

The last book in the series so far, I hope there will be more. This time Harley is on her own in USA with Polly who we met a few books ago. She's helping present Polly's supernatural TV series when one of the other presenters is murdered; of course Harley, being who she is has to investigate.
With lots of suspects, people who are not who they say they are, and Felix (the landladies cat who has a sixth sense like Monty) it's not long before Harley us on the trail of the murderer. However, with no Cole or Cordi to help her out of trouble she soon finds she's in danger!
I've really enjoyed reading these books and am sad they've come to an end, I really hope there are more in the pipeline. ..

Harley has gone to America without her friends to star in a ghost hunting show.
The plot follows the same lines as previous books, though the story differs in enough ways to make it an interesting and fun read. The new characters are likeable and the killer is not easy to figure out. Not too quick a read, it was enjoyable as an escape for a while.
With it being set in the U.S.A the americanisms that prevail in this series (i.e. cell phone) are less noticable, which is refreshing.

Loved this
In my review of last book in the series, I had written that it was a no brainer. Well this one is the opposite. It kept me on the edge the whole time and I couldn't figure who the killer was till the author spelled it out at the end. I did miss Cordi and Cole but this was still a fun and an edgier read than other novels in the series.

This series is a fun quick read.
I love mystery series and this one does not disappoint. Harley Hill is quirky and enthusiastic. She can't help but find mystery behind every corner.
