This book is designed to assist candidates in preparing for pharmacy law examinations in all states. Also includes over 350 practice federal law questions and answers.
Perfect for a quick read on federal law for pharmacists with interactive quizzes to test knowledge retention after each chapter. Highly recommend this book for all students/pharmacy residents prior to taking the federal law exam.
This book lays out the highlights of the federal law in a complete and straightforward manner to allow for easier studying. There were some instances in which local state laws may be more stringent than federal law, and after studying this book, I had to make special note of those instances and study them separately to make sure I remembered the correct details.
I appreciated the 200+ questions at the end of the book, as I felt it was a good practice test before taking the MPJE. However, there were multiple questions that were asked more than once within that section, which disappointed me. While the questions may have been asked in a slightly different way with potentially different answer options, I felt that more original questions would have been of greater benefit.
Never fails to get me in exam mode. I have practically memorized this book, I’ve read it so many times over the years. I always really like it though. I would give it 5 stars but something was wrong with the printing of my copy, the text was warped throughout the book which bothered me. I hope not all copies of the 9th edition are like that, this is a book you want to concentrate while reading and I felt the warped text was distracting. The only differences I noticed in content between the 9th and 7th edition (that I read 6 times) was updates to info on Medicare/medicaid and some new info on opiates/naloxone, basically all the other law info is the same.
