The entries are not invented words, but unmodified English words that in their written form may be misinterpreted, like butter (one of his puns): She wanted to go, butter mother wouldn’t let her .

Great book with examples and context for various puns. Highly recommended for lovers of puny humor and Dad jokes.

This is an entire book of really, really bad puns. They're fun, they're flighty, but criminy, they remind ye of the phrase, "Puns are the lowest form of humour." I've had this in my bathroom for smirks and laughs in little nibbles, but it is time for this to go free. Methinks I'll leave it tomorrow while breakfasting with the fella that sent it my way.

Ie: "As the hermaphrodite said, 'I'll be with you in two sex.'"
