L. Ann started with the Baxters and followed that with multiple series and genres. While her books feature paranormal, FBI, ex-military and Badass Bikers, L. Ann is writing about the strong women that these men need in their life to help right the world's wrongs and keep their small part of the world safe. The women are extraordinary, strong and determined to make a difference.
The men fight for right in every book. Yes, they kill people. Yes, the MC shoots at the bad guys’ feet to cause them pain. Yes, some throw tampons at each other regularly.
That being said, they do these things while stopping human trafficking and experimentation, bringing their world into legitimate businesses, fighting gangs to keep drugs away from their town and kids, keep women sheltered safely while trying to stop domestic abuse. These are men that don’t leave a pack, Team member or Brother behind. They don’t treat women as possessions and they don’t cheat. Respect takes on an honorable meaning. Women and kids are cherished. Everyone is looked out for and everyone is equal.
L. Ann has made amazing worlds, tackled the taboo subjects and made it easy to imagine living in a world where your protection comes from the vampires, shifters, freaky kids, albinos and orientals, military turned FBI and some Badass Bikers.
With readers writing about rereading the series over and over, she feels like she’s told her characters’ stories in a way that would make them proud.
Every book will make you laugh, every book will make you angry for the wrong that happens in the world. Every book will make you cry for the pain that a character feels. Every book gives you hope that we may just get it right yet

MC Romance With A Twist

This is the first book that I've read by this author and it's different from anything I've ever read. It's an mc romance with a touch of the paranormal. Each member of the princes have their own unique abilities. Abilities that they use to protect their people from those that wish them harm.
It's recommended to read the previous books before reading any of the princes books. I didn't so I don't think I missed out too much. I prefer the paranormal stories and this also being an mc romance is an added bonus. The story is not rushed and choppy but full of rich details. The reader can almost picture themselves in the world of the princes. It's a good story.

Family is everything!!

I loved Brantley and Holly's story! It was rough there a couple of times when Brantley picks up Mucimi and when he finds Holly in the car. I love how Brantley was not seen just like Danny! Having a series that spans not only the lives of the original characters but also the children of those characters is awesome. The cross over and the rents are great!! When Brantley has to "ride" with Uncle Danny was comedy the whole time. I am eager to read more and anticipate Taylor is up! Great book and great series!

This series just gets better and better. Each time I start a new book from L Ann Marie I know I'm in for a treat.
As each of the kids gets older and we get their book it's like rediscovering them all over again.
We first met Brantley in Fosters: Blackhawk he was one of the kids that Cloud and CJ adopted. Although he's been in every book so far he almost gets overlooked, this book however shows just what an important role he plays in the lives of the Mc and his family.
To say this book starts off as a tearjerker is an understatement. It literally had me crying both times I read it.
This book not only shows brotherhood and honour but true character and absolute love. I fell in love with Brantley, Holly and Mucimi. I love the "freaky Kids sh#t" it's so imaginative, it adds a new dimension to an already brilliant storyline that runs through this series.
Drama, action and intrigue are in this book . This series is a definite must read for all lovers of the Mc genre.

I first started by reading MC: Knight and then realised that I wanted the whole story and that started with the Baxter's .. although the first books didn't have a lot of crossovers they did set the scene for what is to come in the other books as the stories move along so their importance to the series' as a whole cannot be overstated

I have just read the 22 books to date back to back in the order published on the author's website and decided to review them as a whole. I really don't think they stand well as stand alones as there are too many common threads, too much history and too much character crossover for that so it really is one (very) long story over a very long period of time with each series concentrating on a particular character group but including all of the others (except for the initial Baxter books which didn't have a lot of MC action but did set the scene for a lot of what is to come).

I loved every book although of course some more than others but i am giving an overall five star rating. My biggest issue was that sometimes (often) i found it difficult to be sure exactly who was talking and had to reread sections to try to work it out. I think that perhaps what the author is seeing in her head moves a bit too fast to translate well to the written word for some of us (something like the thoughts of some of her characters - you need to read the stories to understand my thought process here!!)

My other issue was keeping my head straight with the cast of thousands (and this is not an exaggeration) ... with each story building on to what has come before and what will come to be and with most characters continuing to play a place in each consecutive story I found myself constantly stopping to think - now who was that, whose child is that, whose partner is that???? but even amongst that confusion I loved the relationships and the strengths they provided.

The author has an amazing imagination and has brought to the table a fantastic story that i will continue to read and at some point will def read again. I have always loved and had an interest in native american philosophy and also in paranormal and psychic connections and love the way these are ingrained into the books as the stories unfold.

Although there were some things that caused me slight annoyances I cannot deny that as a whole this fits as one of the best series i have enjoyed. my thanks to the author for providing such a thoroughly engaging tale

A year ago I was trolling Amazon looking for an MC read and MC Knight's cover caught my eye; I admit I am seduced by a good cover. Well I loved it and proceeded to quickly buy up the others and fell in love with L Ann biker world.

We met Brantley in MC Blackhawk, one of six foster children adopted by CJ & Cloud. He was always in the periphery, nothing special about him, the kid brother that would pop up in the stories. He has always been there quietly supporting his family, the MC and now the Princes. After a short relationship ends he is left a single father to a beautiful boy.

Holly has been alone since she was 17 when she survives a horrific attack Brantley is there to help her through. Their relationship evolves as continued threats plague them, the trafficking continues and they learn how to handle a very powerful child.

The message of sharing your strength, always protecting your women & children and the brotherhood always has your back continues.

Everyone from the MC makes appearances, and the Princes continue to live what they were taught. We also get a little more of Christian and Taylor is still struggling with PTSD. Another great read in one of the best series around.

Loved it

Loved Brantley and Holly's story.

Brantley Blackhawk, works HS IT for the Princes. A single father to his infant son. He is respected by his brothers.

Holly is an orphan. She is a teacher and children's book author whobis working as a receptionist for the Prince's.

Holly is targeted by the unknown organization that has been attempting to kidnap the old ladies and kids of the Princes and MC Baxter's. Rescued by Brantley and Taylor, she is badly injured. Brantley takes her in to protect her and allow her to heal. His young son is as drawn to her as he is. When the seers say she belongs, Brantley starts working Patches list to make Holly his old lady and make her officially Mucimi's mom.

There are a lot of growing pains for the Blackhawk family. The MC Baxter's are still struggling with the fact the Princes are capable adults. They are getting better. Traitors are caught and the larger threat has been eliminated.

Loved little Mucimi. Happy to see Jeremy grow up a little and Jacob step out of his shadow. Christian, allowing Holly, his brothers and father in, easing his burden. Taylor getting help. Looking foreword to Taylors story.

I love this author. her books are full of emotion and action. I suggest you start with the original Massachusetts MC series, then the baxters before the 2nd generation. loved this book. it starts with a huge self sacrifice and ends with a very loving family. it made me cry, laugh. it made my heart race. it deals with mature themes, death, violence, loving sex...and about teaching our children and loving families. Reread, April 2017. The opening chapter always makes me cry. Re-read again September, 2018. Still good! Revisited familiar story and familiar and favorite characters in August, 2020 during covid pandemic.

Another amazing book by L. Ann Marie. Every time I read one of her new books, it becomes my favorite. Coder is Brantley’s book. And it is most definitely a 5+ star book!!!! There has not been one book that I have not loved.
We first met Brantley in Cloud and CJs book. He was one of CJ’s kids. In this book, Brantley becomes a man. He has more than just himself to take care of now. Once a brother is “all in”, they truly are and we see it here once again!!! I can not wait to see how the rest of the Princes lives turn out!!!

I'm loving reading about the next generation of strong men in this series it's show how much they have learnt from the rents in how to treat their one true loves and Brantley and holly deserve happiness but don't worry we still have the action and normal mc and prince's action cause happiness doesn't come without a fight which will have you on the edge of your seats
