After that he traveled with a Canadian government program, for one year, then moved to California to serve a two year mission working with the Laotian people. Shortly after returning home he met the love of his life, moved to Pennsylvania and married her. He has since completed a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in education. He currently lives in Pennsylvania with his wonderfully supportive wife, and their four children. He currently works as a High School math teacher in an online cyber school.

Waiting eagerly

Much better
Much better than the first book in the series. Pacing is better. Focus is better. Seems more complete and less episodic.

I found this book better than the first one. This series and characters are great. I believe you would enjoy this series. Good Reading Everyone!

Lost and confused
Even though I read the first book and enjoyed it very much , I kept getting lost and confused over the extremely numerous main characters . I am involved in the story though so I will continue to read the next book . I just hope that I mean keep up with the many characters .

A great book
If you are looking for magical adventure, you are reading the right book. What an excellent story!! I couldn't put this book down until the last page was turned. The characters are wonderful and you just want to be right there in Omar's Keep to watch the adventure unfold. You will not be disappointed in this novel.

So flat
I'm to sick to bother looking for another book to read. How can you take such a great story idea and make it entirely boring? Not recommended unless you need to go to sleep. I like the characters, I like the magic system, I even like the world, what little we learn about it. But man this is just flat, no hooks to keep you going wondering what's going to happen next.

Good read
Good reading. Plenty of action and a satisfying conclusion the only thing that bothers me is that everyone has some sort of special ability, which makes it not quite as "special" for someone to have them.

Great second book!
The series is good, and I liked the second book. The first was stronger, but I'm hoping in the third the author will make a comeback and write a better book than the previous two.

I don't even know who the main character is, I thought it was Kaz, but he's always on the side.
