Since Florida Fever was published in 1983 Drew Benedict is very bossy and even hostile towards his employee Nicole Smith. He feels her personal life is his business. especially when he finds her Father figure Charlie left one of his resorts owing money. When the truth comes out he apologizes buts makes her work for him to pay off the money, then he wants her to sell her house for the money. But in the end they get together with a fake engagement that becomes real

Oh no, he has a moustache. I hate facial hair.

He has beautiful eyes. She has beautiful eyes. And it was repeated again and again so we don’t forget.

The h isn’t a virgin. Her first lover was a Spanish gigolo who had sex with her because she came from a rich family. She didn’t know he was a gigolo.

Decent novel, I didn't like how the hero flipped from sweetie to asshole at the drop of the hat but what girl won't fall in love, at one point in her life, with an asshole.
