I liked this one better than Priya's Shakthi. This comic is about acid victims, a topic which we don't discuss often, but is very much important to speak about. This story also feels rushed, but again I'll give this 4 stars for the attempt and the topic. Looking forward to more books in this series.

This is better than Priya's Shakti but again, a man was made the main character... And that bothers me. At the same time, I really feel like these are written for men to relate to and understand women, so it would stand to reason that giving a misguided man a redemptive arc would speak to its target audience. I feel like this series can definitely do grassroots work on young men and boys to help them gain compassion for women, and offer a superhero figure for girls, but it really irks me that it is our responsibility as women to rehabilitate the patriarchy. Still, it must be done somehow.

Got this one at Comic Con a few years ago, a quick read. This was a very nice story, one of those rare ones with a social moral. I wasn't too fond of the art style tbh, and I also think in terms of a plot/story it was very basic. If the objective is to simply inspire and raise morale, it's great!

I felt this was centered around men despite pretending to be about women, while exploiting the pain of women.
