Ok, this book was ok as far as the two main characters go. No really it is.
The misunderstanding is extremely childish, but I can forgive that given the fact that they WERE in fact kids.
However, I am sorry I can’t give the book any more than 2 stars even though the hero is insanely sweet and it’s funny and everything.
The reason, shockingly for me, for once is the heroine.
It’s two little pieces in the book, but it just annoyed the hell out of me and I just couldn’t get invested in this book anymore.
First one, when the Troy explains the whole misunderstanding to Eden, and they finally know who is the reason for the misunderstanding, Eden was fuming, and she goes off to confront her best friend (!).
Then what does she do? She became a little moosh when her pathetic excuse of a friend was trembling and had quivering lips!!!! I mean COME the fuck ON! Really? This so called friend has hidden facts from her for NO apparent reason. She basically made a life choice, on behalf of Eden, WITHOUT knowing ANY of the facts and WITHOUT giving her a choice and when confronted, kept saying “you weren’t meant to find out”, “you deserved better”, “and it was for your own good”.
YOU ARE A FRIEND. OF SAME AGE AND SAME LIFE EXPERIENCE, YOU ARE NOT EVEN A MORE RESPONSIBLE ADULT. YOU DIDN’T HAVE ALL THE FACT. YOU. WERE. NOT. HER. PARENTS. OR. KEEPER.
She has herself has said that she knew nothing about Eden’s dating life as Eden was not very sharing about those information. Yet she decided it was her right to go ahead and make life altering decisions for her and then stand in front of her 7 years later and have the nerve to try to justify herself.
And what the hell does Eden do? She forgives her straightaway, even suggesting she probably did the right thing?
Really? This guy came to dating reality show just to have a chance to meet you after 7 years even after he thought you stood him up?
I am sorry, but for once, Eden in NO WAY deserved Troy.
She didn’t believe in him or his love, and she didn’t trust him. But she has no trouble trusting her friend who has decided to destroy her relationship. Anything bad in this book that happened to Eden after this point? Bitch totally deserved it.
Second one, she looks at footage and decides Troy has cheated on her. AGAIN! She is a TV producer. You would think that she out of all people would know that evidences can be circumstantial? Well you’d be wrong. Once again, poor guy goes grovelling!
By this point, I have lost all interest.
And then shit hits fan with the so call friend. I mean I think after this, I am so happy I am sociopath!

I received an ARC of this book for an honest review, and honestly... it was fantastic! Stud by Avery Wilde has it all... heartbreak, suspense, mystery, drama, an unexpected twist, romance, a cocky, hot as hell bad boy, a great story-line that keeps you captivated, and interesting characters. Once you start reading this book, you won't want to put it down.

The show gives these two a second chance at love. It is a risk though as it could mean another broken heart and her career.
There is quite a few surprises about their past you won't see coming and I enjoyed those twists. It is a well written romance with characters that are easy to like and I definitely wanted them to get their happily ever after.

True Love Does Exist….. 5+stars
What an amazing story. Ms Wilde has penned a wonderful story with all the elements I look for in a romance. It’s filled with equal parts story, steam, conflict and emotions. I loved both Eden and Troy, I loved that they had a history together, and the author integrated the past to round out their story. I was cheering for both Troy and Eden, the true feelings of love never forgotten, even after seven years of heartache and separation. I’m a sucker for second chance romances and Stud did not disappoint. The story is a enjoyable, lighthearted read, and more importantly it made my girly romance heart flutter with such an exquisite ending. Great job, Ms. Wilde. It’s definitely a recommended read.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this fascinating and intriguing book. What you will find in this book is: a second chance of love and happiness between two people (Eden Zamora and Troy Ballard), a betraying friend (Blair), drama, intrigue, suspense, a reality show, Troy - the star of the show arriving, memories, Troy thinking - he is here for Eden, no matter what he is going to get her back, talking to girls on show, tips for the girls, a situation, sabotage, help from Troy, handing charms out to women, eight women going home, tantrums, remaining girls sick, Glenn the boss shouting at Eden, Troy defending her, looking for evidence of sabotage, talking to Eden about letter he left her, going to Blair, explanations, emotions, years wasted, crying, horse riding, camping, a midnight meeting, a kiss, intimacy, a scene, hot tub, a stand-in, more sabotage, kissing, caught by Blair, watching video feed, seeing Blair, sabotage, a setup, confronting Blair, police, Blair arrested, luxury cruise, kissing, caught, running away, escaping, 5 months later, a game won, on field, a proposal, acceptance, a wedding six months later, pregnant, lust, emotional feelings, love and erotic scenes. The story-line and plot is well thought out and written. The characters have needs and desires according to their personality. I would recommend this book to people that like to read a well written bad boy sport romance.

Another great read from Avery Wilde, a sports romance with a twist. Eden and Troy were together for 3 great months back in high school, before everything went wrong. A scholarship shot and an unexplained disappearance finds the two apart for the next 7 years. Then a show called Stud approached Troy about being on the "reality" show where 24 women vie for his attention, and the only reason he agrees is Eden's name in the credits as a junior producer. With a second chance to get things right the two straighten out the memories of the past and work to get things right this time. But the point of the show is drama and picking one of the 24, not a crew member, so the two have to hide their blossoming new relationship. There is humor, drama, someone out to hurt the other contestants and a boss that will do anything for ratings. I loved this book. I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I have read several books by this author. this does comes with a bonus story (already read not part of this review) you will not be disappointed. There was a few twists and turns but HEA ending.
Overview. Eden was the shy girl on the paper in high school. She never pictured the schools leading player, both on and off the field' would think she was sexy. But the two fall in love. But Troy is offered a full scholarship plus a chance for the NFL but he has to leave in 2 days and Eden has 1 year of school left. Troy leave, but there is some confusion between them. 7 years later, Troy is in the NFL and Eden is working on the tv show The Stud, and Troy is the new bachelor. Will the two try to get over the past? Will the two get back together?

This book has everything a Sports Romance should!
It was like star crossed lovers, who met when they were younger and had a connection that was beyond their years!
Meeting up 7 years later and the sparks are flying!
The setting for this one was something that was so different than what I was used to...I wasn't actually sure I would like it....and I didn't... LOVED IT!
It was entraining from the get-go and I loved the characters and the storyline was awesome!
There was a bit of mystery in there as well which I found just made this book all the more exciting!
I love this author and this book was sooo good!
Troy and Eden were so good together and it was a book I would recommend in a heart beat!

Wow!! What a Stud! Loved this book. It's very well rounded, full of drama, a little mysterious and lots of sexy love. Troy is a great catch, tired of the "jock" lifestyle and although its been 7 years he still wants to discover why his first love stood him up. Eden is career-driven and lost her belief in romantic love when her high school sweetheart just disappeared. Well, there's always two sides to a story. :) I enjoyed reading how these two work through what really happened then and what in the world is happening now!!

absolutely loved this book. I especially loved the story line. And the characters in the story are exciting. He is super hot. She gives him a personality that is like a combination of come here sexy and that he also knows you and wants the best for you. I won't say past that. You add in all the other suspense and excitement and you have an awesome book. I couldn't put it down and hated to see it end. I can't wait for her next book. They are always so good. I would have to give this book a 4.5 star rating. This book is sort of The Bachelor style with a twist where the bachelor (Troy) gets to falls in love with his high school sweetheart and one true love all over again after finding out she (Eden) works as a assistant producer on the bachelor style show "The Stud". This book was cute and the main characters where a great match for each other from the start. If you like books with a little bit of sports and the bachelor style shows in them then this book is for you.

Troy and Eden have a history that ended abruptly and hurtfully. Years later, Eden is a junior producer on a reality show, The Stud, and Troy is the most recent contestant. Troy wants another chance with Eden and to find out why she did not go with him after high school. Tons of drama and reality show stunts get in the way of Eden and Troy's second chance romance.

Eden and Troy Were married 7 years ago so Eden stays away from the football player and from breaking her heart again but Eden produces a tv show on dating and he is on it so she has to talk to him and then one mis step a tryst oh boy yeah I know I did not want to talk to him or see him but sparks fly and well you know but I will not do it again. I am a huge fan of this one! Troy and Eden dated in high school until one day he left without a word. Now he is back and is the bachelor on the show Eden works for. He wants her but he left her without a word. What will happen now that he is back? Enjoy this story of second chance love, streamy chemistry and a story I really enjoyed reading.

I just love second chance romance stories. Loved this version of The Bachelor. Makes you really think about reality tv shows in a whole new light. There was plenty of drama and hot steamy sex....which of course is needed. I've enjoyed every book Avery has written and I look forward to reading more. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

It is a hot story.. of what is supposed be a secret. Kind of hard to be a secret.. with all the Hot sex. mmmm. it was had great balance of action and suspense and the adventure you go on is amazing. I was given this story for a honest review.

Swept away
Both stories in this book are fun, fast reads. They are about bad boy sports players being brought down by love of the girl next door type. You can get lost in a good story that has romance, drama, and steamy scenes.

It was a nice quick read. I liked that the football aspect fit with the story and not the main focus. While I enjoyed it. It felt like there was something missing, though I'm not sure what...
