A great resource and very accurate. It's a solid introduction to the state's trails.

Found the 1998 edition at a used bookstore for a good price. Comparing it some of the newer guidebooks I have, doesn't look like much as changed. There are a few trails listed in this book that I didn't find in the others, and I like how this one goes into a little more detail about the geology, flora, fauna of an area.

I will continue to keep this book on the ready. The reviews of trails have far more detail than the MN State park websites.
