I'm the author of seventy-something novels, including romance, women's fiction and mystery. When We Were Sisters debuted in June 2016, a stand alone novel about two foster sisters traveling back into their past together. I loved writing it and love the cover my publisher chose.

I'm also excited about my recent series, Goddesses Anonymous, which started with One Mountain Away and was followed by Somewhere Between Luck and Trust. The third book in the series, A River Too Wide, came out in July 2014. The Color of Light debuted in August 2015. Will there be more? We'll see.

I'm also putting up my newly edited romance backlist and love re-reading and updating them a bit.

Last year my husband and I moved from Virginia, to Osprey, Florida, the state where both of us were raised, met, and married. In the summer we live in Chautauqua, New York. I'm a quilter, knitter, kayaker, and the mother of four children, whom I regard as my greatest creative endeavors. And now there are four wonderful grandchildren to spoil.

Also called Mail-Order Matty.
This is a strictly average romance with a Pollyanna heroine who is kind, caring, a virgin, loves kids (she is a pediatric nurse) and gave up her dreams to take care of sick father and agrees to marry a man she hasn't seen in eight years so that he can retain custody of his kid. h is 27 and vaguely knew hero in college. She moves halfway across the world, braves sea-sickness and the bad attitude of the delinquent teen who lives with the hero & the 70 year old cook of the hero and still decides to marry him. She obviously falls for his three month old daughter & even makes friends with H's ex and daughter's mom. I kept waiting for her to act human! H was also okay. The book didn't leave much of an impression to be honest.

Matty is going no where in the job. She and several friends read a post in an alumni newsletter. The answer as a joke, but don't plan to mail. It gets mailed & a response! Matty quits her job & moves to an island to care for an infant & marry a stranger. After a rough beginning, they fall in love & enter areal marriage.

Kind of a sweet story. I like the character change and growth. Good quick read.
