I would use this book to talk about cars and all the places we can go in transportation. As an extension activity, I would have children draw pictures about how they travel to school and what do they see on their way to school.

This book would be very useful during guided reading in a kindergarten classroom. I would use it for children in an advanced group. The author created beautiful illustrations and he is thoroughly descriptive of what Albert is doing and what the car and environment looks like on every page. Children could learn all sorts of new words for us to discuss, thus expanding their vocabulary and reading ability.
